Tropical Smoothie Cafe — Restaurant in Falls Church

Mon, April 22nd, The idiot guy who made my meal today left the sticker to the banana in between the bananas when he made the acai bowl. Ridiculous. He took forever, and the lady helping him was coughing on everything. The girl making the smoothies grabbed the lid on the inside with her hands. The girl at the register went from doing money and checking in to doing smoothies without washing hands. None of you at this location cares about sanitary things at all! All of you should be fired. I'm calling eccosure on this location.

Also, months back, the one guy left bleach spray sitting on the floor in the bathroom. This is against code as well. If some kid grabbed it and sprayed in their eyes by accident, you would have a lawsuit on your hands.

You people need to pay attention to reality. You make way too any mistakes. All of you need to be re-trained. The dept. of health will be called, and you will be trained again or fired.

Last night in a rush, I came to grab dinner and under much pressure and time restraints, not only was I greeted with a beautiful smile by Layla, but the team prepared my food and smoothie in a jiffy! I honestly felt like it was made with love and you could tell the ingredients were fresh and the flatbread was well-prepared. After a long, hard day, something so small like a trip to Trop (lol) really put me in a much better mood. The place was clean and while I waited, the small talk with the team was refreshing. They seem super knowledgable on the menu items and suggested a few new additions I can order next time. I am not one to leave reviews often (sad, but true) but this visit left me no choice! I came with the free smoothie coupon and the woman serving me would not let me use it even though it was clearly a problem with their system. I have used it before at other locations and it always works. She repeated “It’s not working” and after I had already scanned it 3 times she continued so I left the store. Because I scanned the coupon I am now not able to use it and have to wait like 3 more months to get another. I was very disappointed with the service.
