Last night, my fiancé and I dined at Tiger Ramen, and I can confidently say it was an unforgettable experience. While the food was excellent, it was the outstanding service that truly made our evening special.
From the moment we walked in, we were greeted warmly and seated promptly. The ambiance of Tiger Ramen is cozy yet vibrant, setting the perfect stage for a delightful meal. The menu offers a wide variety of ramen dishes, each sounding more delicious than the last. We finally settled on the Spicy Miso Ramen and the Tonkotsu Ramen, and we were not disappointed. The broth was rich and flavorful, the noodles perfectly cooked, and the toppings fresh and generous.
However, the highlight of our visit was undoubtedly our server, Alison. From the outset, she was attentive, knowledgeable, and incredibly friendly. Her genuine enthusiasm and positive energy were infectious, lifting our spirits and making us feel right at home. Alison's recommendations were spot-on, and her attention to detail did not go unnoticed. She ensured that our drinks were always topped up and that we had everything we needed without ever feeling rushed.
Alison's exceptional service left a lasting impression on us. As someone who owns a restaurant in Boston, I can say with confidence that she would be a phenomenal asset to any establishment. Her dedication to her craft and her ability to connect with customers is truly remarkable. Alison, if you ever see this, please reach out—I would love to discuss potential opportunities with you.
Tiger Ramen is a must-visit for anyone in search of great food and unparalleled service. My fiancé and I left the restaurant with full stomachs and happy hearts, thanks in large part to Alison. We can't wait to return and experience this gem of a...
Read moreI came here with my daughter, nephew, and senior parents around 8pm on a Tuesday night. I hate writing restaurant reviews based on service alone, since that doesn’t reflect the chef or the food, but unfortunately our experience was overshadowed by one extremely unfriendly waitress and the lack of indoor seating available.
The waitress didn’t ask my mother if she wanted another hot tea (even though hers was empty and she was cold because we were seated outside), only refilled our waters once as if to check if we were finished and give us the check, and seemed annoyed that we walked in without a reservation. She acted bothered while we ordered, never checked in to see how our food was, and didn’t ask if we needed anything else throughout the entire meal.
We were also told it would be a 30-minute wait for a table inside, so we agreed to sit outside. However, I noticed a table open up inside about 15 minutes later that was never offered to us. Overall, the waitress seemed upset with us the entire time for no clear reason, and it completely ruined what should have been a nice family dinner.
When I asked for my nephew’s and daughter’s meals to be packed up, she either only packed one or combined them into the same container and handed us that instead. When they wanted their leftovers later and I opened the bag and realized this-it was a disappointment for them both.
Sadly, because of this, I would not choose to eat here again. Other than the service and atmosphere, the ramen...
Read moreWhen I heard Falmouth was opening a ramen place, I was so excited but unfortunately this place did not meet my expectations. Upon entering, the interior and atmosphere was immediately unpleasant - dark, tall walls with no decor and very dim lighting. I do not know if this is because the place is so new but I found it unsettling.
I ordered a "Chicken Ramen" (chicken breast, chicken meatballs, pea shoots, ginger, jalapeño) The ramen noodles themselves had absolutely no seasoning and tasted incredibly bland, and I got tired of it after 3 bites... highly unusual for me because I LOVE food!
The chicken meatballs seemed to lack salt or butter and were bland, and the chicken did not flavor the soup whatsoever.
The amount of ramen included in the bowl is very minimal for the price of $20. Also, on their website they state it is a "fast, casual restaurant" which I found ironic because it took 35 minutes for the food to be prepared. However, the waiters were incredibly attentive and patient, which I appreciated.
The 99cents Marachan Top Ramen cups or instant ramen noodles you can buy at the grocery store are superior to this and I would prefer they had prepared me one of those honestly...
Unfortunately, this place is not Asian owned from what I gathered so the way the ramen is prepared is probably not authentic. Save your $ and go to New Peking Palace across the street or...
