I am truly stunned to see such negative reviews here regarding the Farmington Dominos! I order from this store literally on an extremely frequent basis, and the predominant number of orders are definitely 5-Stars; on rare occasions if something is amiss, they replace items or give credit. I've honestly never been so terribly disappointed that I have given less than 4-Stars, and even this lesser amount has been a rarity.
The owner cares, as do many of his personnel. Yes, there are a couple of employees who could use a personality tweak, but who cares in the long run? Not me. As long as I get what I've asked for from A-Z, I win. P.S. I've never been hung up on . . . .
The drivers are polite and delivery is timely; more than not delivery is super-fast. Certainly, there have been rare occasions when the store gets backed up causing a delay. I have never received the wrong food. 98.9% of all deliveries have been perfection. one or two times, an overdone crust or perhaps my veggies should have been placed under cheese, not on top for a better result. However, if something is wrong, things are absolutely and immediately made right.
The entire "crew" have been especially accommodating to incapacitated (handicapped) customers as well. Of my hundreds of deliveries to-date, (including today) the sandwiches and pizza were cooked perfectly.
As to Dominos Corporate, I am firm in my belief that a $3.50 delivery charge plus the normal tip I give the driver of $3.00 each order, borders on extravagant; I live close to the store itself. But Corporate decides these issues, not the store owner. (Corporate should upgrade the Dominos website online Ordering Form and implement a suitable Customer Comments Box to add the customer's preferences for their immediate order.
*To the customer who said there was no way to request deleting garlic crust or how a pie should be cooked, go to the bottom of the pizza screen and there are exact options to select one's order preferences and, if you prefer no bacon on your sandwich, at the bottom of the sandwiches screen there are also options for bacon (yes or no) as well.
After a few years of constant ordering from this store, which moved from Orchard Lake & 10 Mile to a new location at 9 Mile Road, the majority of my feedback happily continues...
Read moreWell, this is awkward... I don't want to dis the quality of the pizza 🍕, however there are some management concerns that need to be addressed, Pronto...!
I placed my order on my phone. No problem... As I was Leaving to pick up my order, my wife came home... She decided to place an order as well... She could not complete the order online so she called the store... They told her that it would take more than an hour to complete her order...
By this time I'm in the parking lot of the store, waiting for my order to be completed, cut, and boxed.
My phone 📱 dings, indicating that the order is ready... I go in and try to pay with my credit card 💳 and the card reader won't approve the payment...
The girl making the pizzas says, "It won't work because we turned off the internet. We're swamped with orders, and we're understaffed." Seriously...!?
Between the time I placed my order @ 6:03 pm Saturday, and my wife tried to place her order @ 6:10 pm, they unplugged the store from the internet because they were under staffed and overwhelmed with orders...!?
That's really bad business management decision making IMHO...
Again, not critical of the product, the pizza 🍕 I got was tasty... The problem is with the way the store is being managed...
I eventually wrote down my cc # and gave it to the girl making the pizzas, and running the register... I had my dog 🐶 in the car and I was hungry... I hope she doesn't go shopping 🛒...
There were only two people making the orders and one delivery guy...
They were doing their best, but they were not able to deal with the problem effectively...
This is a failure of the ownership to manage the business effectively... IMHO...
I hope they get this fixed... I want to see them succeed and...
Read moreThis was my first time visiting this Dominos location. I purchased an order of stuffed cheese bread late in the evening. When I opened my bread it was burnt. It's so hard that I couldn't event bite it. I called the store back to inform them my bread was burnt. However, the store manager Mike was very rude and dis-respectful. I explained to Mike, the manager that I lived an hour away. He told me he would not replace my food unless he could see the bread was burnt. He also stated if I wanted my food replaced he didn't care if I had to drive an hour to come back. I asked the manager if he had an email address for the store and I would email him the picture. He never gave me the store email address. Mike also told me it's nearly impossible for them to burn bread. Someone could have easily not been paying attention and burned my food. I order this all the time at several domino locations and my bread has never been burnt like this. This store has a poor excuse for a manager who has not customer skills at all. Mike told me I was SOL and he didn't care if I had to drive an hour to come back. I will never go to this location ever again. They don't care about how they treat their customers. Mike, the manager needs to be trained on proper customer service and how to resolve customer issues in an appropriate and...
