I came here at 1:10am on october 19th, 2022, when I went to the drive-thru screen nobody responded in the screen was blank, the menu screen was blank, I pulled around and nobody was at the front window, so I went to the second window and I had to take my order from the nice young lady with dreads.... she had to call the order back to the manager who was ringing up the order... a nicely pulled back to make it more convenient for them, all I wanted was a Big Mac meal with a lemonaid.., they put extra, extra, extra mac sauce on my burger, 3 patties on my burger and the fries was extra old, I couldn't even chew them.. I tried to tolerate it until I saw my burger.. I came back around to the speaker, the menu board was on but nobody answered the speaker for at least 3 minutes so I pulled around to the first window, the girl that was supposed to be on back cash walked from the office to the drive thru window, came to the window look dead at me and turned around and put her back to me while she was talking on the phone and then walked away, I sat there for about 3 minutes and then I pulled up to the second window... nobody was there so then I went back to the speaker and I sat there until somebody answered, that took about 5 minutes and the girl said one moment please.. there's no cars in drive-thru at this moment she gets back on speaker with an attitude problem ask me, what do I want! not how may I help you! she says what do you want! I told her I came through the drive-thru and I ordered a Big Mac meal.. it has extra mac sauce on it, three patties and the fries were terrible she says one moment again... the manager comes to the speaker and I explained to him my situation he said man pull around.. when I pulled around he didn't even let me explain my situation, he automatically had an attitude thinking I had an attitude but I didn't I just wanted a sandwich re-made and I asked him is this the proper amount of Mac sauce you guys put on a burger and do you guys put three Patties on a burger he said yes this is proper protocol #smh... then I tell him the girl that was sitting right next to him trying to be cool look dead at me in back cash when I was trying to explain it shut the window and turned her back on me, he wasn't trying to hear that... in a rude tone said I'm making your burger again... I tried to explain to him that if this is the normal amount of Mac sauce you guys put on the burger can you put light Mac sauce on it... he takes off before i could explain myself, he makes the burger, they give me my fries fresh and the nice lady with dreads at the front window smiled and said I'm sorry for the inconvenience...
Truth is, i was cool calm and collect but for some reason they were very angry with me because i came back about my food...
Personally this is probably by far the worst experience I have ever experienced at any McDonald's especially considering the area that this is located at. . I've had better service at a East side Detroit 7 Mile McDonald's restaurant.. đ
If I could rate the performance of this overnight team I will give it half a...
Read moreThe food quality at this place is great, and employees are respectful, but the personnel manning this place needs better coordination. Indoor dining was closed when we were there (about 8pm), so we took the drive-through. Every single car spent at least 10 minutes at the ordering booth - not because the driver couldn't make up their mind, but because the staff member wasn't available to take the order. We were in a 6-7 car line (4-5 cars literally left the line in the 40-45 minutes we had to wait... others came and took their spots), and took us almost 40 minutes to get to the pickup window. We soon realized why it was so slow - the employees were busy chatting, laughing (not a problem in itself!) and barely paying attention to the orders screen (this is part of the problem - see next for the rest). The pickup window staffer was literally reading the order screen and assembling all items, one item at a time, but slowly, interrupting every few seconds to turn away to pay attention and respond to his colleagues in the kitchen, and then return to the order screen to re-read or see what the next item (i.e., a slushie, a sandwhich, fries) needed to go next in the bag. (We overheard the conversations - they weren't work-related, they were just joking around and teasing each other).
Not a single employee seemed to care or even be aware at how long the drive-through line was.
Again, the food itself was excellent quality and fresh. Employees are respectful.
Time to take the order, fill the order, and pick up left a lot to be desired. All caused by how things were organized and rolling inside.
Advice: if you can put up with the 45 mins wait time, the menu is yummy. Majority of people can't, though, and it's better...
Read moreI have eaten here a couple of times and it has been okay, but this time it was bad. First, at 12:15 pm the line for the drive through was backed up to the entrance so I could not turn into the parking lot. Once the queue had cleared enough for me to enter the lot, I parked and went inside to order. I ordered a Big Mac meal and a McDouble. I paid at the terminal, entered my table âtentâ number and paid the almost $13 dollars for my meal. No receipt came out, and although the order number was briefly displayed, I paid no attention to it since with the table âtentâ, I expected the meal to be brought to my table.
I waited and waited and waited. After 15 minutes I went to the counter and asked about my order. The person asked me what my order was, and I replied. Evidently the order had been ready but no one brought it to my table. Instead they hastily put the burgers in a bag, grabbed some french fries, placed them in the bag and handed me the bag and a cup of ice. So much for table service! Why bother giving the option?
The fries, while fresh, were unsalted and a bit undercooked. Some of the fries spilled in the bag and soaked the napkins with grease. The Big Mac was placed in a Double Quarter Pounder box, and the McDouble in a double cheeseburger wrapper. The McDouble was cold and the Big Mac needed to be re-built, as the layers were all over the place.
I realize it was busy at lunchtime, but after overhearing a woman complain to the manager about her childâs Happy Meal missing the burger and fries, it seems to be standard operating procedure here to screw up peoplesâ orders.
I donât think I will be...
