I recently dined at SIAM Spicy II and had one of the best dining experiences ever! From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was warm and welcoming, with authentic Thai decor that set the mood perfectly. But what truly made the evening special was the incredible service.
Our server went above and beyond to ensure we had a memorable experience. They were attentive without being intrusive, and their knowledge of the menu was impressive. They helped us navigate through the various dishes, recommending some of the most flavorful and authentic Thai cuisine I’ve ever tasted. The food arrived quickly, and every dish was beautifully presented and bursting with fresh, vibrant flavors.
What really stood out was how our server personalized the experience, checking in on us just the right amount and making sure we were comfortable throughout the meal. Their friendly demeanor and genuine passion for Thai cuisine shone through, making us feel like valued guests rather than just customers.
Overall, SIAM Spicy II not only delivered on the food, but the service was the highlight of the evening. If you’re looking for authentic Thai food served with a smile, this place is a must-visit! Highly...
Read moreSince we moved to a new office, I’ve been on the hunt for a good Thai spot. I tried two other places before this one, and let me just say—third time really is the charm! A coworker recommended Siam Spicy II, and I’m so glad they did.
I used to visit their old location on Woodward (sadly, it looks like COVID took that one out), but this spot absolutely delivers. I ordered the Chicken Pad Thai and went with mild since I was playing it safe. It came with hot and sour soup—which I’d never tried before—and it was fantastic!
The service was top-notch and super friendly, and my food came out quick—perfect for a lunch break. The restaurant itself has that classic strip mall vibe, but don’t let that fool you. The food is on point.
It’s close to the office, so this is definitely going to be a regular lunch stop for me. If you’re looking for great Thai food in the area, this...
Read moreFirst time here Oct 2020. Got carry out after a doctor appt next door at the big medical complex. I was spoiled by the original Siam Spicy on Woodward in Royal Oak, which I've gone to since the 1990s (but now closed or new owners). Nothing has compared, not even the spinoff Siam Spicy locations like this one. I had Yum Ka Lum Plee here, the cabbage salad, but it was too raw. At the original Siam Spicy it was much more wilted and perfect. This dish is unique and an absolute favorite of mine. Next time, I will probably bring it home and warm it minimally so that the cabbage softens a lot more, but not enough heat to "cook" it, which would be a disaster. Also, it did not come with rice, which was either a mistake, or just cheap. It needs rice on the side. However, the flavors were very good. I would add a few more crush peanuts to pop the...
