My wife and I decided to try the new CFA this evening, Friday 2/21/2025 @ 6:45pm. What a sad, sad disappointment. Jordan the cashier was pleasant, but it went downhill from there. We sat waiting in the uncomfortably cool dining room, (because they had the door to the drive through propped open. Every person in the dining room had their coats ON, btw). Not the smartest thing to do when it's 19° out, waiting for our food, which never arrived. After 10 minutes, I decided to go back to the front counter to see what the issue was. The gentleman at the counter, I didn't get his name, but I assumed he was a manager, dressed in a black pullover type sweater, and about 50lbs overweight with glasses. Looked at my receipt, apparently saw no issue with it taking 10+ minutes to get my order. Looking behind the counter, I could see my wifes salad sitting on a tray off to the side, like our order was completely forgotten, (which it obviously was). He placed my sandwich, (with the stale, crumbly bun) and fries on the tray, handed it off to another employee , and walked away. No apologies, nothing. Apparently, CFA corporate has lowered the standards to whom they award a CFA franchise to if this is norm. Truett Cathy would not be impressed. Neither was I. We...
Read moreNOT GOOD. Drive through setup is confusing, order was EXTREMELY slow, and the store manager Nate (as he called himself), was condescending and unhelpful when I asked to speak with him about my experience. Nate could have cared less about the experience I had. I explained to him that everything from the closed off entry to the parking lot, the single mobile order lane and single standard order lane, to the slow service and Luke warm food had led to a poor experience for me. When I told Nate this, I explained that I had been at the restaurant for 25 minutes total and he said technically the order I placed only took 15 minutes. This was absolutely frustrating to know that this is how Chick-fil-a upper management handles these situations. I was also informed that other guests had the same issue of accidentally getting in the mobile only order lane and corralled to the end. Chick-fil-a Farmington is out of the gates with another 1-star...
Read moreMaybe it's just me, maybe I'm just having difficulty adjusting to the new higher prices/smaller quantity restaurants. Maybe I'm getting old. It's just I clearly remember the time when you got a fairly decent sized portion for a moderate price. I was unfortunately in a hurry and I needed something fast. Saw there was a Chick-fil-A nearby. Chicken sounded good. Ordered a 4 chicken tender meal. The drink was what I would consider a snall/medium. It was tea so pretty cheap to make, just saying. The fries were likely similar. The tenders were the equivalent of 2 in my opinion. I have zero complaints about the quality, service or anything else. Just the portion size for little over $12. I realize I can't change prices, but it directly affects how much I choose to eat out. I will say I'm at least happy to spend my money at a Christian business. Hopefully that still holds true. I do recommend, just a little pricey for the...
