Placed a mobile order at this location. Showed up to pick it up and it wasn’t ready. After standing there waiting for several minutes, the employee seemed put out to tell me it wasn’t ready (frankly, i think they ignore the mobile orders in favor of people at the counter), and that I could come back in 5 minutes. I came back, waited an additional 5 minutes to get anyone’s attention, and then watched him grab the bag that had been sitting for who knows how long. This was just chips and queso. There was not nearly enough queso provided. It was a bad experience.
But it gets worse. I reached out for resolution. I got a response from “Valentin” who said, “I’ll talk to them about portions.” No mention of the wait or the miserable way I was treated. No “give us another chance” or “let us make this right.” Just “Hey. I don’t care, but since I’m required to respond, I’ll pretend we’ll address it.” Who’s he gonna talk to? He didn’t ask for more information, so obviously he doesn’t care.
So, Costa Vida overall is great. This location? Nope! Frankly, things have to be pretty bad for me to want to post. I assure you, it was.
I should also mention that I read the reviews about this location. A response from the “owner” from 5 months ago promises “immediate action.” Given that nothing has changed, it’s apparently not a priority.
*update. You can see that the owner responded to my review. The response was vague and meaningless and EXACTLY what I mentioned above. When the owner says, “We’ll address it,” but obviously doesn’t (as you can see from the string of negative reviews and no apparent changes by management), they might as well just say “take your business elsewhere. we don’t care.” They...

I was told they don't take the paper receipts anymore so I couldn't use it. When clarifying that any receipts I have and the surveys I have already done are now worthless, he told me yes. I explained that I found it in poor customer service to not accept it since it was a survey I had already completed in the past before their new system and I hadn't been back in since they have changed their system. The only choice they were leaving me with was paying for it even though I had a voucher to receive it free even though I explained that if I walked away from the meal I assume it would just go to waste (which makes me sick). So instead of honoring the survey voucher I had already completed and then me paying for the rest of my meal, they lost money on me paying for my meal and the food goes to waste, including food that they were already giving away for free anyways using some other system. Read moreDecided to do an online to go order. Got there and grabbed my food. When I got to work and opened up my food, I was pissed. Got nachos and chicken is 3.99 extra so I did that, then as a side I ordered more chicken for 3.99 asked for extra beans, which was 1.29. My nachos didn't have extra chicken, my side for extra chicken was 1/3 full and just scraps, and my beans were half filled. I paid $21 and I didn't get extra even after I paid $10-$12. So I emailed the company and the general manager emailed back and asked if I had recommendations. I said yeah to give me a refund because the employees keep cheaping out on the online orders. I sent pictures of my food and receipt, and got no response back. Not coming here again.
Update: Owner responded to review and when I sent my review (Dec 14th) to the email they gave me, i never got a response! Forwarded the email first week of Jan and it is now Jan 13th and still nothing! They just respond to make it sound like they are...
