IT'SUGAR Station Park — Restaurant in Farmington

I have sent a complaint into corporate, station park, and security about a particular worker who looks to receive a lot of complaints. I’ll amend my review based off of response.

I visited your Farmington Station/ Utah store on 09/17/2025 between 10:30 a.m. - 11:20 a.m. for my wedding anniversary, while chronically ill, and during my visit an employee and customer were engaged in a loud semi heated debate about price gouging in the middle of the store, while the customer even had two small kids with her. This was disruptive, unprofessional, and created an uncomfortable shopping environment.

When I intervened to let the employee know I was uncomfortable, and had called security to help her, I was told that there was no issue with the heated debate and if I was uncomfortable I could leave. Also, as I was leaving still being verbally attacked by the other customer with no assistance from the worker! I found this response dismissive and unacceptable. Customers should never be made to feel unwelcome or told to leave for expressing discomfort in a store setting. In addition, I was unable to do any shopping.

I expect a more professional and welcoming atmosphere when shopping in your stores, and I hope this matter will be addressed. In addition, this may be viewed on your security tapes.

When I addressed my concern tonight that “inappropriate” products were in plain sight and access of all the children in the store she replied “this isn’t a children’s store, it’s an adult novelty store”. When I asked her how to contact a manager or owner she said “you can go to the website...good luck with that” and rolled her eyes. Based on the corporate “about us” page it appears she is right. Why would something that appeals more to children than adults not be child friendly? At any rate, we won’t be shopping there again and we blasted it out on social media and Google Review and received similar responses from friends and family. We’ll buy our candy elsewhere. Came with my granddaughter to get her a treat while Her mom grabbed dinner to go. But when we tried the door it was locked . At 6pm . The welcome sign was showing . There was another lady that was also waiting to get in. We sat out front as 3 other people attempted to try the doors. When the cashier walked up and asked she was unlocking the door my granddaughter said come on grandma and the cashier stated that .. she was on break and it would be a little longer before she opened and her break was over.. I’m sorry but a you have people waiting out side to purchase . Especially a 5 year old girl. Staffing appropriately would be a plus at this.point . Not really happy with how the cashier...
