This is literally 2 minutes walk from my job, so I had to try. Sits with a couple of other food trucks (Jamaican and noodle bowl) plus a tattoo truck! As I know Chinese food doesn’t take too long I skipped the tattoo truck. I may return if I opt for the curried goat from the Jamaican truck. Suffice to say I’ve been 3 times the last two weeks, so you probably guessed where this review is going. I have had the sesame chicken, curried chicken & General Tsao’s chicken (I like chicken, what can I say!). All very tasty and large portions. Curried chicken is more like chicken fried rice, not very saucy, which is what I’m used to, but it tasted great. Very pleasant chef who takes about 5 minutes to cook your meal. Nice little patio area for lots of people to sit. I had enough leftovers to eat the next day all 3 times. Around $11 a meal which is fantastic in this time of counting our pennies. I will definitely try something other than chicken next time and hopefully remember to update my review, but as for now please check this place out and support local businesses. Credit...
Read moreOrdered fried chicken curry rice which was VERY well seasoned with decent size tender chicken, peas. Diced carrots and bits of egg. The orange chicken was not too sweet which is PERFECT, however the fried rice that came with it was slightly disappointing. It had a few pieces in the mound of rice and small remnants of egg and carrots. I also got the crab ragoon which had a well seasoned, whipped cream textured filling and a crispy outer shell. Disappointing was the sauce that tasted more watered down sweet and sour and very vinegary. I will be back for the curry rice over everything else. Ohh and I would suggest wax paper over th3 aluminum foil. Poking foil and biting into pieces of it...
Read moreLast night my husband and I picked up chicken fried rice, pad Thai and General tso chicken to share. When I opened each takeout box, I noticed the food was hard and dried out - like it had been sitting for hours even though we live less than 10 minutes away. The pad Thai was so dried out and stuck together - I should have never eaten it. My husband wouldn’t even try it. Of course a few hours later after eating I started throwing up and I now have food poisoning. Really upset with myself for eating food I knew had been sitting out, but definitely more upset at a business...
