Good afternoon, as I write this today I’m currently sitting inside the restaurant. I would like to start out by saying my server is as wonderful as she can be. But I can’t say the same about the food and the behavior of the other staff/manager. I started out with the Santa FE Spinach Dip which was microwave to hell and back and hard and crusted around the edges but according to the Manager that’s how they serve it. Then my food came out my whole rack of ribs was cold from not being fully heated and my broccoli casserole was cold all the way through. I also ordered two drinks first the Texas margarita which was supposed to be served with salt on the rim and garnish with a lime neither was on the drink. I then ordered the Maui margarita where I personally requested salt and lime and the orange that comes with it. When served the first time it had neither the salt or the garnishes on it and when I mentioned it to the young lady she that brought it to me she acted as if she had an attitude that I wanted my drink made the way I asked. When served the second time they still refused to give me the limes I asked for and put lemon instead. When asked about the lime I was told that the bartender just didn’t cut any and I assume that he/she was just to lazy to do so which is very poor service being that it was 6:30 when I ordered my first drink and the restaurant doesn’t close til 10. Today I rank my server a 10/10 for being as sweet and as kind as she could be. I rank the food here a 2/10 because it was just a huge disappointment. And as far as the manager and the other young lady and the bartender I rank them a 1/10. Something they need to understand here is that the customer is always right even when we are wrong we are right. I hope that someday that these things will improve but as far as myself they will never have to worry about me being a customer at this establishment again. Do better Fayetteville team, and if you hate your job or feel like you can’t perform to the highest standards then quit and find a new job...
Read moreI would like say that I am very frustrated! This was me and my fiancé’s THIRD time here just to not eat at all. The first two times we came it was a 45 minute wait, which is fine but we were starving. Today, our third time, we live 45 minutes away and really wanted to try Cheddar’s. So, before we headed on our way, I called to see how long the wait would be so that we could be added to the waitlist. I was told for two people there would be “no wait” and I asked again, “no wait for two people? Because we live 45 minutes away” And I was told, “yes ma’am, we’ve already had our Sunday rush so you should be fine whenever you get here”. As we arrive, we see two people getting seated by the host and another party of three people. When it is our turn at the host stand, we were told, 15-20 minutes. So, I asked if we could wait for a table at the bar, and the hostess said yes or we can eat at the bar too. We sat near the bar and was greeted by one of the bartenders and told her we were just waiting for a table, she then gave us drink menus that we requested while we waited for our table. After 20 minutes pass, we still have not be waited on by the bartender again for our drink order and decide we will head back to the front to wait for our table. After waiting for 5 minutes and seeing people getting sat before us after we have already waited 25 minutes, I stepped to the hostess and asked “when our table would be ready?” And she asked “what was the name?”, I then explained to her that, “we had already said we would wait at the bar for a table and never got our drink orders taken at the bar.” She then said we would have to put our names on the list and wait again. I just would like to say that, I do not mind waiting for seating especially, when restaurants are busy. But the employees did not seem to be in any rush at all. I have worked in the restaurant industry and I know one of my previous employers would’ve never allowed this...
Read moreWaited 30mins for server to take drink order after sitting down, even then i had to ask who my server was just to get someone to come over and take our order. Mind you I had to walk back to the front desk area to do this, even though plenty of employees walked by noticing we had not been served.
We still waited another 10mins. This brings our time close to 30mins before even having our drink orders taken. The front host went and grab honey crossiants but did not attempt to have anyone take our drink order. The manager finally came by the table to apologize around 9pm which was very thoughtful. She immediately took our drink orders.
We then waited another 45mins before receiving any food by this time it’s almost 950pm; the only thing that was correct was my toddler receiving his food immediately, everything else, we waited. When our food came out the NOLA pasta was extremely dry, barely any Alfredo sauce on it. We had to request extra sauce. The grilled shrimp pasta was okay but by this time we didn’t even want to eat based off waiting so long. We asked for to go plates just to speed up the process.
The manager offered us 1/2 off our meal due to the extreme wait time. We then attempted to use the kiosk to pay but in true fashion this isn’t working so we had to wait another 10mins to pay.
Needless to say this will be our first and last time dining here. The manager on duty did her best to correct the issue but they need to relook training the front host / waitresses on shift to have a plan in place to cover for the waitress if you see they are getting behind on their section. It shouldn’t take the manager to come serve us, especially when plenty of employees were walking around or either standing on the side on their phones. All in all we joined the waitlist at 8pm, was seated by 826pm, and left unsatisfied by 1005pm. Still even left a TIP even though our experience was...
