This not a traditional yeast doughnut. It is basically cake in the shape of a doughnut. It takes exactly like yellow cake mix. And it isn't dense like the cake doughnuts from Dunkin' Donuts or Krispy Kreme, these are very light without a lot to them.
The draw to this place is the unique option of customizing your order by picking your glaze, drizzle, and topping; and having the "doughnuts" (I have a hard time using this term because cake is a batter and there is nothing dough about them) in front of you by their automated machine (it is a very small assembly line, but it is a cool machine) and then topped immediately. Any good baker knows not to ice a cake when it is hot, so the unfortunate thing is that a doughnut that is blazing hot from the fryer gets topped immediately and about a third of those toppings end up on the bottom of the box. Ours did not look pretty like the pictures.
Our order was not keyed in correctly. You first fill out a form and they key it in. You I can just tell them, also. We were glad we arrived when we did because there were only about four people in front of us. However it took about 15 minutes to get our order. The doughnuts were too hot to eat. A bit on the underdone side.
Overall, our kids liked it and the experience. But the parents would rather spend our money, and less of it, at...
Read moreI’m a returning customer, so this isn’t the first time I’ve ordered here. The donuts are great, but the customer service is bad. Tonight we ordered at exactly 6:37pm and was told my order would be ready at 7:13pm. I arrive at about 7:25pm and ask the lady about whether the order was ready and one lady with pink hair just ignored me and walked away. The other worker said “she hasn’t started my donuts and that they were busy” I could see that and I totally understood. I was just genuinely asking because my order stated 7:13pm. Afterwards, I asked, “do you know about how long it may take?” I didn’t realize it was a crime to ask that since it was already 45 min since I made the order. I felt targeted because they proceeded to make other customers donuts before mine. I asked a girl waiting when she order and she said 30 min ago and she got hers before mine. When they finally got to mine, they made comments that I could sit there mad for 2 hours and that I shouldn’t “come in here asking when my order will be ready” I understand places are short staffed, but when workers are intentionally being rude and aggressive towards customers, something needs to be addressed. Hiring managers need to evaluate the kind of workers they are hiring. In the end, I said thank you and took my food. I won’t be...

Donuts couldn't be ordered online despite it being 45mins before closing, so we finished driving to the building and ordered inside and the entire process took 40mins - 10mins just to place place order despite being 2nd in line then another 30mins to get the donuts, and the order wasn't at all what my husband and I asked for. Other customers literally asked if they forgot about us, probably because even they noticed every customer who was there when we arrived and those who came afterwards had their order completed and left before we were called. Mens and women's bathrooms were dirty (mens dirty per husband, womens had an overflowing trash can, the toilet is not attached to floor so be careful when you sit down, and the lighting is terrible but you could tell the surfaces weren't very clean) When receiving our donut order, our milkshakes were done at the same time - employee called number 3x in the time it took to get from being seated at a table to standing at the counter, then the employee immediately walked away as soon as I got up there to do other things. Older white lady seemed to be doing all the work while the other 4 ladies stood around looking clueless - she deserves a raise for keeping that place running...
