I order the Hibachi chicken. When I got ready to eat my food (2 hours later, had errands to run ) I found that I was given the wrong order Hibachi Shrimp. I DO NOT EAT SHRIMP. I called to make them aware that I was given the wrong order that I just wanted my food replaced. I was asked for the ticket number gave them the number and was told that was 2 hours ago why didn't you call when you got home.... I was then told that a normal person would have eaten their food by now, and would have called by now, to let him know that the order was wrong, that take out was not good for that long. I was made to bring the wrong food of plate back to the store to prove that I was given the wrong food, even though I had proof of my order, and the receipt that was staple to the wrong order. I showed the food to him and asked if I could keep to give to homeless person standing on corner and was told that they have to throw it away and proceeded to take the plate of food behind the counter (they have built a plex glass case for covid), I was like you can't do that, take it behind the counter, he said you can throw it away in the trash in the lobby. In order for me to replace your food I have to throw it away. He then asked me if I was Safe serve certified, how did I know the rules of what to do with food, when the order was wrong. No, but it is covid 19 and you should not take food back. I had to throw the food away. I asked about a refund because my order was wrong, I have to take time to come back, gas to come back, not allowed to keep the food that you gave me, I was told no and he pointed to a hand written note on window that says, once food prepared no refund or exchange. Just bad customer service experience all tog!!ether. If I could give a negative star I would I did not go into detail how the insults continued after, I went back into the store to...
Read moreHad a great first-time, late night experience here. A few friends and I walked in around 9 pm ish and took a gander at the menu. Only two of us were really looking to order anything (pescatarian friend and myself), and we did. Very good prices and good amount of food. I got the General Tso's chicken and the hibachi fried rice. I think my friend got the teriyaki shrimp or something? I'm not sure, but they ate almost all of it and even saved their leftovers (they're not the leftover type). I wasn't actually hungry but wanted to try a favourite that I saw they had. Shared it with the rest of my friends who didn't order. They enjoyed it. My favourite part was the rice, absolutely delicious. Highlight of the evening was the lovely lady at the front offering us free cups for drinks and even giving us free sweet donuts. I wish I got her name, but she was really sweet, had a bit of a heavy accent, and had long black hair (?). Great experience, would...
Read moreHad a great expereince with food at Japanese express. My daughter and I took a chance we live in another county. Wow the food and service was excellent...Jennfer had a smile and greeting when we came in and was very patient as we placed our order. As we were waiting a couple of customers were ending there meal and saying how good the food was...happy customers a really good sign....Our food was up and we also observed how much care the cooks in the back were and how clean the kitchen and resterraunt were. We dug in and it was delicious hot and fresh tasting. We havent been to lucky in finding places with reasonable cost and great taste in Fayetteville. This place is one of five and a family owned business based on what Jennifer stated . My family and I will continue to support and eat happily at Japanese Express even though we live almost 45 to 60 minutes away. Take a chance and give them a try....Sincerely a very...
