Food was pretty good for a 2pm lunch, fries not awesome like our 1st visit, they had been under the heat lamps awhile, but that was 11am & freshly made for the lunch rush. The location had much more help this time, which was not the worker's fault on our prior visit.
Update as of 12/23/2019 (Skibo location) We stopped in about 530 pm and it was a train wreck inside. There were 2-3 people in front of us then i ordered and evidently there were 7-8 behind us waiting on food for a long time. There was more than enough staff but no one was in a real hurry to get the customer's in and out. They were waiting on fries for some orders, and sandwiches (supposedly, even though there were 4-5 sitting under the heat lamp for 15 minutes). One guy trying to fill orders kept going to the back talking to the manager 4-5 times. There was one lady that had ordered ahead of time online and she had been there an hour +. A lady that ordered later than us got her food and left. One guy before us asked if he could have any chicken sandwich sitting under the lamp and a fry he had to go as he had been there 30 minutes just like us. The guy that kept going to the back had new fries sitting in the basket ready to serve but they sat there about 4 minutes before he noticed them and said out loud "oh no one told me they were up" The one guy started filling our order, stopped in the middle and went back one of those times talking to the manager. We saw the cook drop our order 5 minutes before he started filling it ( and it was 2 items not like it was a big order) We finally got our order after about 35 minutes total. The drive thru was backed up out to Skibo. On the way out I advised one lady in the drive thru, you may want to go somewhere else it took us about 35 minutes to get 2 items inside. The food was good if you can ever get it but I don't suggest going at peak times. Maybe the manager was trying to figure out the screw up on the lady's online order in the back. She did come out from the back after about 30 minutes and tried to rally the slow service a little bit but it was way late at this point. If I'm the owner for this location I would not be happy with this performance because 3 customers walked out while we were there + the ticked off ones around us and in the...
Read moreI recently had a very disappointing experience at the Skibo Popeyes. I ordered a meal for my family, including my bedridden grandmother and young sisters. When I left the restaurant, I realized they had forgotten the mac and cheese and jalapeños, so I called, and the manager assured me I could come back to get them.
Upon returning, the cashier apologized and gave me the forgotten items. Another staff member offered to remake the mac and cheese to ensure it was fresh, but since only a few minutes had passed, I declined.
When I got home, I discovered a partially eaten strawberry biscuit at the bottom of the Mac and cheese container. This was incredibly distressing, as I had already served the food to my family, including my grandmother. I immediately called the restaurant, and the manager asked me to come in the next day to resolve the issue.
When I arrived the next day around 3:15 pm, the manager was running late. I waited patiently, but after 45 minutes, another employee told me I needed to return during the evening shift to speak with the evening manager as she wasn’t scheduled until 5pm. This was incredibly frustrating and unprofessional.
Despite waiting and being assured the issue would be resolved, I left without a resolution. The handling of this situation was unacceptable, and I am deeply concerned about the food safety and service standards at this location.
I hope this review highlights the need for better training and customer service practices at this Popeyes. I would not recommend this location based on...
Read moreThey took my order wrong. Didn't repeat order before I pulled up to the window. Cashed me out and I tried correcting my order with the woman at the window and she rudely said she got it and closed the window. I waited ten minutes at the window thinking they corrected the issue. I drove all the way home to realize they didn't correct it. My brother who was with me and paid for the order called to see about getting his money back. The manager Daniel said he'll handle it and that he could come get his refund. My brother drove back to get his refund to be rudely told that he can not get a refund because Daniel said he asked all his coworkers if they did our order wrong and they denied their mistake. I hope that if this is read that corrections to their store management and associates would be made. I understand that fast food can be hard and the people difficult but I feel like I was not being rude or difficult. I patiently waited and I was polite to the people I have spoken to at the window. I would like the same treatment. But Daniel you said you would handle it. But having someone drive all the way to the restaurant to be told you handled it by talking to your associates and feel giving a refund is not needed is not handling it. You're wasting people's time, gas, and money on food they didn't even ask for. If you don't enjoy giving refunds. Take the order correctly and fix the attitudes. I will not be going to Popeyes on...
