Maggie's Pub — Restaurant in Fayetteville

I recently visited and was quite disappointed with the customer service, specifically from one of the bartenders. On the evening of October 29 2023, I encountered a situation that left me feeling unwelcome and frustrated.

The bartender in question displayed dismissive behavior throughout my visit. When I asked questions about the drink menu, I received short, unhelpful answers, which made me feel like I was inconveniencing them. Furthermore, there was a derogatory comment made that was entirely uncalled for. This type of attitude and behavior should not be tolerated in any establishment. I requested a Mexican mule and I got a simple cup with lime and tequila.

I hope that The owner takes this feedback seriously and invests in staff training to ensure that all customers are treated with respect and courtesy. It's essential to remember that customer service plays a significant role in the overall experience.

I came after hearing about the bar while staying at Adventures on the Groge. I was so excited was told nothing but great things, first they are not friendly to tourist, the bartender Courtney was wasted and completely rude when I questioned why my drink price went from $7 to $9 as I was paying as I went (and i tipped each time) . Then when I asked her name or for her to get her boss she told me to leave. I try not to make assumptions about business or people, but I saw her take at least 4 shots just in the two hours I was there. And I know at least 4 because when I went to get my drink I had to wait for her to take shots with other customers. There is no way I am the only person who experienced this. I recommend anyone pays as they go or they find another bar...

Great little local watering hole. Stopped in here the other evening with family and friends for a few beers and a game or two of darts. The gas fireplace out back was a nice touch for a chilly early spring night. Norman, the resident feline, was on hand for a scratch behind the ears (Norman's... not the patrons).
