Man, I wanted this place to be awesome, but it truly was just ok. The service was friendly but definitely not a "dining experience" for having a lunch. I had to pay and tip before I even saw my waitress--like, you want me to tip ahead of time?? That seems pretentious on multiple levels for a restaurant. Again, they were friendly but I would stick to a food truck if that is the model you're trying to provide but when you go to a brick and mortar, you have to change your model. THE BIGGEST PROBLEM was there was no air conditioning and just a couple units on the ground attempting to pump cooler air but it wasn't working. It is over 100 degrees and when there isn't a/c, it is a problem. This food and atmosphere is inferior to surrounding places that offer the exact same items (specifically the restaurant two doors down). Seriously, a burrito and quesadilla for 40 bucks (we had two bottled drinks (sodas))--that is truly overpriced. Just because you're on Dickson street does not mean you can charge these prices especially when the food quality is not there. Unfortunately, I will not be coming back and I hope you guys do well but this...

Location is great, right next to a lot of popular fun spots.
Staff is helpful
Cons: Menu is not customer friendly in that it doesn’t have item descriptions or list all of the items available. (Chips were not listed and water was not a drink option). One of the options included pineapple and one of the workers had to inform us of this instead of simply listing it on the menu.
The tables and seating seem very cheap. They’re literally fragile popped out card tables. And fold up chairs. I’m an average adult female and could barely fit my legs under the table. My Date could not fit his under the table at all causing him to have to sprawl out uncomfortably in order to reach his food.
The tacos came with sides of onion, cilantro, and salsa upon request. Each one in its own little plastic container. This could be improved by just having bottles at the tables so as not to contribute to plastic waste.
This place is PRICEY for what it is. I paid $15 for three tacos and water.
Overall I don’t think I’ll be back. I know of much better taco spots in the area that are just more comfortable atmospherically and...
Read more“Ahí les va” this is one of the most authentic Mexican experiences. Picture this: you’re out of the club, tipsy, feeling a little buzzed, and you just need something to munch on. In Mexico, as soon as you step outside, you find a taco stand. Everyone’s vibing, strangers coming together for one thing: good food.
Seeing this place, surrounded by spots selling hotdogs and burgers, was a sight for sore eyes. Don’t listen to the John’s and Ashley’s. The food is authentic. The carnitas are beautifully seasoned, the asada and the tacos al pastor are some of the most delicious in the area, the salsas are authentic, and the aguas frescas are on point!
This is a modernized taquería and the owner cares and you can feel it. Está haciendo un trabajo FANTÁSTICO. I would definitely come back and recommend this place to anyone.
Delicioso, tiene todo lo que hace una buena taquería. Nada más faltan las cebollitas asadas. Están haciendo todo bien. La locación es increíble y la atmósfera está genial. Great...
