I went to the Wendy's on Raford Rd. last night, ordered a Single combo with no cheese, cup of chili and a Carolina Burger and some other things. They told me at the menu board, in the drive thru, that were out of chili, so I said fine and got the Bacon Cheese Fries. When I got to the window they told me that they were out of the Carolina Burger, by this time, I had already paid. They asked me if I wanted another sandwich, so I said just give me another Single with no cheese, but didn't say weather it was the same price or tell me that I could have gotten the 2 for $5 Singles because I didn't realize they had that at the time. I just took the bag and was about to drive off as I realized they didn't give me my Sweet Tea. I got home to realize there was cheese on both burgers and I could have just gotten the 2 for $5 Single deal. The manager was right there and she did not say anything about being sorry for being out of everything I wanted or redo my bill for the lessor sandwich I got or try to comp me in any way, not that I wanted a comp, I just wanted what I went there for or at least an apology. I got none of these things. This was the worst experience I have had here and I believe it was due to poor management, plus the 16yo girl running the window did not have a clue what she was doing either. I sat at the drive through from 5:03-5:10pm in silence then I asked the drive through box if anyone was ready for my order in case they didn't hear my car pull up somehow. I sat in silence for another 2min with no response no acknowledgement. I drove around to the window in case the speaker was out of order and by now the line behind me is wrapped around the building. I figured the car before me drove off because they changed their mind. At the window is what appears to be a manager in a black shirt and ponytail and two younger men. The manager was on the phone with a drive through head set on and when she saw me she turned her back. 5 more minutes has passed and I'm still not acknowledged and she has kept her back to the window and her face always anywhere but towards me while she walked by the window to move register drawers. Three cars have left out of the line by now. 5:20pm she looks at me and gives me the wait a minute finger. By now I'm pissed at the utter disrespect and lack of customer service. I went through the drive thru area and I got three items in and when asked, “is that all?” I said no ma’am and she huffed and puffed into the speaker very loudly as if I was inconveniencing her for ordering. After I proceeded to get to the window she grabbed my money and because it was larger needed a manager and just went off with the window open so I could hear all the rude things she was saying. Then when she walked back over she slammed yes slammed… not shut.. the window on me while gathering my change. I waited patiently for my food and when it was brought to the window I was not very happy already but stayed silent while I grabbed my food to avoid making any situation heated or worse. I grabbed two bags and another worked held onto my other two bags and proceeded to ask me and not in a nice way “do you have a problem..” I just shook my head in disbelief that they were so rude and combative. I really hope their owner stops by for a surprise inspection and sees how their business is being ran and how terrible their customer service really is there.
