As regular customers of Whataburger, we decided to stop by for breakfast this morning, as we often do. However, upon returning home and opening our food, we were dismayed to find that the gravy accompanying our meal was as runny as water, literally. This is certainly not the quality we are accustomed to from Whataburger.
Understanding that mistakes happen, I contacted the store to address the issue. Unfortunately, my conversation with Brooke, who identified herself as the manager, only exacerbated our dissatisfaction. Brooke not only displayed a dismissive attitude but also demonstrated a lack of concern for the subpar product being served from her store.
When I expressed my desire for a refund rather than a replacement order, Brooke made it clear that refunds are not their policy. I requested to speak with the general manager of the store or obtain the corporate office phone number to escalate my concerns, Brooke claimed to be the general manager. At that point, once she knew I was serious about escalating this issue to corporate and upper management, she did issue a refund, or so she said. I guess I'll find out in a few days.
Furthermore, when I insisted on contacting upper management to address both the quality of the product and Brooke's unprofessional behavior, she callously implied that my efforts would be futile, stating that any complaint would come directly to her. She said "Oh sure. Here's the number. The complaint will come to me anyways."
This experience with Brooke has me concerned about the level of customer service and quality control at Whataburger. If this is how Brooke treats any customer who encounters an issue, it raises serious questions about her suitability for a managerial role within...
Read moreI had 2 coupons and I don't feel like I paid a fair amount of price for the meals. My coupon was to buy one Whataburger meal and get one Whataburger sandwich free. Then my other coupon was to buy one medium drink and medium fries and get one double beef bacon burger free. In the end I needed 3 sandwiches, 3 fries, and 3 drinks. The guy argued with me for the longest time that I couldn't take the beef off and add chicken (I don't eat beef) he kept telling me that I had to pay $2.50 for the chicken even though the beef was $3.50 anyway I might be off with those prices but there was at least a dollar difference between the two and he kept on wanting to charge me for the chicken. I didn't understand this when the beef was more money finally he gave up and decided to allow me to switch it out. So the only thing that I should have been charged for was 1 drink, and 2 orders of fries. It ended up costing me $21!!! I had a small order of fries in the bag I didn't ask for I'm guessing that came with the meal. However, I didn't ask for that extra medium order of fries that I received so I had 3 medium orders of fries plus the small. The fries were all cold they were really not consumable in my opinion. I hate cold fries! I don't think I will ever eat here again I am so dissatisfied and this was the location located in Fayetteville Arkansas on 71 business and...
Read moreI wish I could rate this higher but I can’t. I live nearby so it’s very convenient for me to grab a quick meal here to take home. I like to order curbside and whataburger does have good offers and rewards. Here is the problem. When I order through the app, drive through pickup is not an option until 8pm, so I choose curbside. At least 50% of the time ( and that’s being generous) I wait well over 10 minutes in the parking lot for someone to bring my order. I usually by then go inside and check on my order and it is quickly brought to me. Not sure if it is some kind of issue with syncing the order up with the app or what, but it’s very annoying to expect your food to be ready and you just wait only to find when you go in it seems like they just didn’t want to bring your food out. I think the food here is above average for fast food and the store is always clean. So please whoever reads these for the store, know there is opportunity to improve the curbside experience for the customer. I love to use the app to order, but many times I choose to go somewhere else because of the curbside...
