I wish I could give negative stars. I usually order pizza once or twice a month depending on my schedule and we ordered from this store for years without issues. Our first issue was when both my husband and myself were not home but had ordered online and paid with the same card that we have used every single time. The driver refused to let my adult child sign for the pizza because she was not the card holder. I called and spoke with someone and she said it was fine and she would put notes for my address that its ok for my daughter to sign since its being delivered to my house. 10minutes later the manager calls and says that can't happen its against policy to not see the card and ID of the person signing for the pizza. At my house, that we've lived at and ordered from them for years. He was willing to go against policy that one time but I told him no thanks. I decided to give them another shot this Sunday and ordered online at 8:30pm. I receive a vmail from the manager explaining they are 3hours behind and would I like to change the order to carry-out, keep it the same and wait or cancel all together and she leaves the number to the store to call back. I call back and speak to Chris who informs it that its the first day of football season and that's why they're so backed up. ok, well I ask if we can change it to carry out and he says well that's gonna take an hour and a half for carry out. ok. Then he asks for my number to look up the order but he can't find it. He verifies the number and continues to look but can't find it. he puts me on hold and then I get hung up on. I call back and explain my situation to the girl that answered and she says you need to speak to a manager and places me on hold and hangs up on me as well. I call back again and magically the manager answers. She can't find my order or why its been cancelled and she can't explain anything. Not once did she or anyone offer an apology. I ordered from Pizza Hut and they delivered earlier...
Read moreI have ordered from this Domino's before and had a great experience. I again went to make my purchase of items that I had bought several times before. They were pretty quick in delivery, but not all of my items were up to par with previous experiences. It seemed like only one was messed up, but as I got to the second item I noticed that it was definitely messed up as well, so I called them. They were very polite & professional and offered up a replacement to compensate & told me I could keep the mistake. It took longer than usual to get the replacement... but to be fair it was towards the end of the night. I called to check on the whereabouts, and they told me the driver was on her way. When I got my replacement the problems that where there in the first place were still there, kind of upsetting so I called and spoke with a manager: Gil. I explained that the stuffed cheesey bread still did not have some cheese in slices.. and when i finally got to the cheese it was barely even melted, and on my sandwich i had requested extra meat & there was barely cheese on the sandwich. So not at all how I have received these items before. To which I had bought these same items, the exact same way before and they had always been perfect. Gil was beyond understanding and apologetic and explained that they had employees previously that went overboard putting extra on their items and were costing the company extra by not following the recipes/amounts. I really appreciate that he took time to explain that to me, and he applied another credit to my account. So I would definitely order...
Read moreUPDATE: The store manager called me after seeing my review and has offered to make it right with credit. I definitely appreciate that, the gesture of reaching out to a disgruntled customer goes a long way with me. I will, indeed, give them another shot.
Still waiting after placing my order more than an hour ago. The little tracker app says my pizza left the store 30 minutes ago. It doesn't take 30 minutes to get to my house from ANYWHERE in Federal Way, even in rush hour, which it is assuredly not. At least I know it should be perfect, because the tracker app also showed the "quality check" taking almost 15 minutes. Surely it wouldn't have just sat there before "Matthew" got around to it. We'll see. I'll continue this review if the pizza ever arrives. Finally arrived an hour and 15 minutes after I placed the order. It had obviously sat around for a while; the concealed grease was a dead giveaway. It was warm, not hot though, like when you show up to a meeting late and everyone has already had a couple slices. Really disappointed, because I used to love Domino's. Guess I'll be trying the Pizza Hut around the corner next time. They're closer, maybe they can get it here before I start contemplating cancelling my order. One thing is for sure, I will NOT be ordering from here again. Two stars for at least...
