La Michoacana Classic — Restaurant in Federal Way

Been coming since they’ve opened, today I happened to stop by with my family and I always get the same ice cream (nanche) flavor. When one of the lady’s was serving my ice cream I noticed and she even notices it was like dry, it wasn’t scooping nicely at all it was falling apart. So as she’s trying to scoop it she asked another lady if it was ok and she proceeded to tell her to serve it. I was eating it and noticed a very weird taste to the ice cream and the texture was very weird. I go back up and ask them nicely if they can switch it out so they went to the back to ask and they girl who was helping me out asked me who served it because they just took it to the back to fix the ice cream because it wasn’t a good batch. She comes back out and tells me that they can’t do anything about it and they won’t switch it out. I was very surprised because coming from a family who owns restaurants if something is not good we will NOT SERVE IT. They should have at least switched that scoop out otherwise WHY TAKE IT TO THE BACK TO FIX IT FOR???? Very highly disappointing. I ended up telling them to throw away my ice cream because the bottom scoop was already melting a lot since they took forever to...

I looked this place up because I heard one was open in our area I'd previously visited one in California and it was a great experience....I'm on here reading reviews and the snarky person who responds from the business is what just made me be so disappointed in this place.....one it represents a hispanic busines....learn to grow and listen to the customers ....two sometimes the business is responsible....stop deflecting and making excuses for this..if your in this business the customer is right....they keep saying there is/ are people with horrible or bad attitude just apologize talk to your Staff and move on.....i think if you change your attitude just on writing reviews it would be more appealing to people like me that actually read and believe in reviews...they are written for a reason...will definitely not be visiting... i wonder what kind of snarky reply i will get...

We had gone there hoping for a great experience but we just got a lot of bad service and terrible attitude, we waited in line patiently once we got to the front we didn’t get nobody’s attention to take our order or ask if we needed help so then we assume we keep on walking cause we didn’t want any popsicles or aguas frescas. They stared at us plenty of times without asking if we needed help or anything then proceed to help other people behind us. Once we got someone’s attention instead of them being it’s ok we got u right now. They just gave us a lot of attitude and wanted to send us to the back of the line. We just left so im not coming back I’d rather go to the ghetto one in Kent instead of this one cause the two workers down there are able to handle there job better then the 5 girls...
