As always my matcha and my bagel were amazing, the girl who took my order was super friendly and helpful. I’ve only been here a couple of times so I asked if they would bring it to me and she reply “yes I’ll find you”. I sat down and waited for 18 minutes and when I finally got up my espresso, macha latte, and bagel were just sitting there. I understand that we all have days where our Mood is off and there’s a new espresso machine that perhaps is making things a little harder but honestly the barista seemed she didn’t want to be there and because of that I paid for an espresso that I couldn’t drink, not o my it had been sitting there for a while but pretty much everything about it was off.
Reminding employees that it’s ok to have a bad but also take care of their customers in a way that no one suffers it’s the best way.
I still going to give you 5 stars and I still tipped $10 on a $19 tab but I’m leaving with a not so good taste in my mouth that I hope changes next time I’m around.
Not to throughly anyone under the bus, but sometimes this type of things need to be brought up so we can keep ourselves in check when it comes to customer service.
Keep up the hard work.
Oh and by the way, I was also here Sunday and every single thing about my experience was AMAZING. So I know this isn’t a all...
Read moreThis is a coffee shop that does not care about your time.
I've tried them twice now just to give them a fair shake. Both times my food order took an insane amount of time. We're talking nearly 30 minutes for a dead simple panini - bun, meat, bun - in a nearly empty restaurant. God help you if you order something more complex than than that.
A decent person would respect their customer's time and let them know before they ordered, that their meal is going to take an unusually long time, or if the wait is unexpected, recognize that the order is running late, check on it, then go have a chat with the customer about what the problem is see if they want to wait, order something else, or get a refund. This is customer service 101.
Mocama Coffee has proven to me through back to back failures of basic service decency that they just do not care and I would recommend that you not take a chance with them.

Read moreWe decided to try the coffee shop side of the business today. We are local and regular coffee drinkers who buy specialty beans and grind our own at home. . The flow of ordering and getting your order was tricky. We ordered two large brewed coffees, a danish and a banana nut muffin. The line was about 8 people deep with one barista working. (Another helper later came out to help.) We found a table to wait. Apparently we had to know that the coffee would be sitting up at the counter. We didn't so our coffee sat up there getting cold until I went up to check on where it was. The condiment table only has sugar and truvia so if you like other zero-calorie sweeteners, bring your own. The Danish was excellent. The muffin was gross, like it was a store bought version and we left half of it uneaten. The coffee was way too strong and no longer hot so we left that unfinished as well. ...
