I first started to visit Church's at the age of 7 years. I lived in San Antonio near Old Hwy 90 and the chicken was delicious. But as time move on, while living in Sothern California Church's had made it's appearance. The chicken was good, but a bit greasy. And when I moved to Federal Way, WA, once again Church's followed a few years after. I would visit the restaurant but it was not the same as back in Old San Antonio. In February 2024 I visited the restaurant here in FW after about five year since my last visit and this time, the restaurant was clean, very clean but old. The new crew had changed and it's now in line with the new current demographic. Starting with the manager. Very attentive and greeting with a smile and outstanding eye contact. Supervising the orders and coaching the crew to be aware of the customers and to work with a sense of urgency. Next, The cook way in the back of the shop. In most places, you will only see the person with there head down or looking and playing with their phone, but not at this shop, his head is on a pivot, constantly look at the front of the shop, smiling and waving at costumers. On may last visit, after receiving my food, I returned to the counter for some Ketchup, and of course the other employees were tending to other customers. And to my surprise, the cook immediately rusted to the front to see how he could help me. I have a great crew, but this guy went beyond the mile. I like the Texas chicken. It brings back good memories.
Only because my shop is 120 miles north of Federal Way or this crew would be working for me.

Read moreI was excited to try the new Church’s Chicken in Fife but I won’t be back. Ordered my food to eat there. Restaurant was so cold I kept my jacket on. There were no customers when I went in except for one man who was waiting. Not inviting at all. Ordered a 2 piece mixed. There were 4 or 5 people working but I think one was doing drive through only. Service was sooo slow. Drive through had many orders go out before I got mine. And I waited. Three more people put in their order. And I waited. And waited. I ended up with dark instead of mixed. Usually there’s a piece of paper in the paper thing the chicken is served. Not here. They just dump 2 pieces in the paper tray. As to the food …Breading was very crunchy but had no flavor. The chicken also flavorless. The potatoes and gravy were very good. As they say, you never get a second chance to make a first impression. I...
Read moreIt's close to my job so I come here quite frequently on my lunch break. Prices are fairly reasonable and you can't go wrong with chicken. This time I ordered 5 of the spicy chicken wraps and got the new fresh pineapple pies. It took over 10 minutes for them to make the wraps and then an extra 3 minutes to bag them. I was watching them bag other orders that were placed after my order get bagged up first. It usually isn't that long for the wraps to be done, so maybe they dropped new chicken, but still a little peeved that they were bagging two separate orders while mine just sat there. By the time I got back to work, I had to clock in and didn't get to enjoy my food fresh. The workers didn't even apologize for the wait time nor offer me something for the wait like other fast food restaurants typically do. Hopefully not like this the...
