It’s always a hit and miss with this location. I have to say that whenever I come to Burger King for breakfast or lunch, the day shift staff is better with making sure the order is correct, we have enough napkins, and the food is fresh and hot. When we come through the drive through to pick up dinner, the question nowadays is not “Did the staff mess the order up?” but “How bad did the staff mess the order up?” The order taker most of the time gets the order correct, it’s usually the grill staff that messes the order up every time. Whenever my mom and I come home with our 2 large double whopper meals, the burgers either are singles instead, they put cheese on my mom’s burger (she doesn’t like cheese, but I get it on mine), they forget to put bacon on her burger or cheese on mine, which we paid the extra x amount of cents for the bacon and cheese, or the food ends up being lukewarm. Today we picked up dinner to eat before going to work tonight and as the usual, check and see how bad the food was messed up. They got my sandwich correct, but put cheese on my mom’s, so she scraped off the cheese and gave it to me. While eating, our food was lukewarm and Mom had to microwave her food. I bit into a fry and was grossed out to find out it was raw. I usually don’t complain a whole lot about food service, but the evening shift at the Trenton Ave. Burger King definitely needs some kinks to work out. I gave this a two star because day shift gives...
Read moreThis Burger King gets my order right about 60% of the time. Most Burger Kings have a button on the register for when people order an item "extra hot" because it's been company policy to serve lukewarm food for years now and the company knows people want their food hot. Even this Burger King has that little button because I've been here so many times and ordered my food that way and it pops up on the drive-thru screen that I in fact did order it that way. I just went through the drive-thru and when I ordered my food extra hot the woman taking my order snickered. After she repeated my order back to me and "extra hot" wasn't included nor was it on the screen, I repeated "extra hot" and she snickered again, now I don't know if she was high or what but of course I get my food and it's seriously room temperature with both pieces of cheese slapped in the middle. Too lazy or high or not properly trained to bother taking the order right, and definitely too lazy to make the order correctly. People need to be trained better at this location and learn some basic rules on how to behave...
Read moreI have spent an HOUR in the drive thru in the last Four visits. Every time i only ordered 2 $1.78 sandwiches. Every time they were made wrong except the third time when i specifically asked if the could "make it the right way." I was not even angry or upset the first THREE times. But after spending yet another 16 minutes in a drive thru, when it should be well under 5, for $3 worth of food... Ridiculous. That was my last time coming to this specific establishment. Staff feels a 10-20 minute wait in drive thru is acceptable. And i did not even get an apology. This falls on management not teaching their staff basic guest relation skills. Not making a little sandwich mistake. 2 times i asked for a refund because i did not have an additional 6-8 minutes to wait for fresh food, again. Management never even apologized. Just a "here." And "have a good day" Again. Ridiculous.
2 stars instead of 1 because on the third visit/first refund the woman who took my order/money was simply kind and understanding. Which is why i did not complain...
