Denny's — Restaurant in Findlay

Went in after midnight and was with a fellow coworker, both of us are cooks so we know how everything goes down at restaurants. We ordered our food and got our drinks out aswell. The way the place is laid out, we could hear the on duty kitchen staff arguing with the server about one of our appetizers not coming with sauce or not, moments later probably after the sauce got on it. I heard the plate being slammed down.

As a cook, I personally treat my coworkers better than how this guy was going about. We got our appetizers and the server was really great and despite the cook being angry, the food was good.

I seen something that I wanted to try and wanted to take it to go, and heard again an argument which made both of our bloods(my coworker and I) boil.... "Doesn't this come with sauce" the server asked before the cook said "How should I know?" The Server went and checked and sure enough the cook had to add the sauce on it.

Loved dennys until this time I went, it was like being in the twilight zone of breakfast, the one server was yelling and complaining about having to do her job, so loudly that I got a migraine, after waiting 30 min for a country fried steak and the servers getting food to their friends who came in much after myself, I waited an additional ten minutes to see if I would even be noticed, I was not, I got up and let the lady at the cash register know that we would be leaving and to cancel my order, to which she contorted her face to a look of disgust and didn't seem to understand why I wanted to leave after waiting for my food for the better part of an hour and not even given a single refill in that time, all in all this was beyond awful and I doubt I will ever go back, you're better off going to Bob Evan's or even waffle house across the street. No problems with the food and the service was fast! However, the issue I had is an encounter I witnessed between two employees while I was sitting at the counter. My server (who was a very friendly woman and very attentive) politely asked the kitchen for another order of eggs for a table. In response, a man in the kitchen (young looking, tattoos) asked her why, fairly aggressively. When she explained that a table had ordered them (which she shouldn’t have to do, as it’s pretty self explanatory why she would ask for them), he sternly told her to repeat herself several times before saying she should “use her big girl voice” and snapped around back in the kitchen. I could tell this upset her but she just went back to working. This was extremely unprofessional and frankly, incredibly misogynistic.
