My experience was not good but I believe in karma 😂

Today I went for 2 poke bowls. I told her 2 tuna proteins and then asked if they had ground tuna to which she replied “yeah? But that would be 3 proteins” like I was stupid or something 🙂 - I told her yes I wanted it. She said it would be extra (no shit) and then I asked for extra sauce, she did it but with a look on her face, like she had an attitude that I wanted more sauce lol. I asked for extra crab and she again “it’s going to be extra” but with an ATTITUDE, and I said “that’s fine” and then I asked for more sauce, literally because it was dry and she was being stingy and she gave me the UGLIEST look possible, like she was horrified and mortified and disgusted that I could possibly ask for more sauce. I almost called her out on it but then I remembered she’s probably miserable. She rings me up and I POINT OUT that she charged me for 2 proteins (remember she had an attitude telling me my third protein would cost extra) and she again, responded with an attitude and said “yeah you got 2 proteins” as if I was pointing it out for charging me too much (I was pointing it out because she was charging me too little lol) so I ignore her and pay. Now remember where I mentioned karma? Thanks for charging me 2 proteins instead of 3! Even though I got THREE. :) maybe if you weren’t such a miserable human being you wouldn’t be losing the business money by charging...

The food is amazing. My husband always picks up my order. Today though I called it in and was just taken aback by how abrupt and rude they are. The first guy that answered I was just trying to make sure I had the right place but he passed me off to someone else like he didn’t want to take the phone call. Like I said my husband and I always get poke from here and it’s the same exact thing every time. I had forgotten two ingredients that my husband gets so I asked the lady like oh gosh what are the rest of veg u have and she responded” yes that’s why I like to tell you and ask u questions instead” then she proceeded to tell me what she had. And once she said the two things u had forgotten I tried 3 times to let her know okay ma’am thank you I got it but she kept speaking over me.... and she knew I was letting her know okay she could stop and anyways finally when she finished I said “thank you bc she had said the two things I forgot on my husbands order at first” not only was I trying to save myself time but hers as well but she then responded with a hint of attitude I detected” oh well u said to tell you so I was finishing telling you” anyways all in all the way I was spoken to although those phrases may not seem bad the way that they were delivered and spoken were very disrespectful. Again truly amazing food here but the service today was just a...

Aloha Poke is now Poke Pop - and I don't blame the owners getting away from the Aloha franchise (they tried to trademark the word Aloha and sue people for using the word - hilarious) You'll still find solid assembly line poke here.

Previous Review: Aloha Poke finally brings the assembly line poke experience to Tacoma and it does it pretty well. Most importantly, the fish is very fresh, the assembly line is clean and the bins are neat.

Assemblers will quickly get better and faster, so overlook the initial slowness and be VERY clear with them about what you do and don't want... especially if you don't want mayo or certain sauces (we had that problem). The staff here is very nice though - they'll do their best for you!

Bowls are $9 to 13+, the base price depends on the number of proteins you choose. Today's options: tuna, salmon, scallop, red snapper, shrimp and tofu. They also have unagi (eel) separately. Then choose your toppings, like: green onion, cucumber, ginger, tobiko, nori; avocado and octopus salad are extra.

Sleek and clean in here with plenty of room. Probably a capacity of about 50 comfortably. It wasn't too busy when we visited, but wait till word gets out! I predict great success for Aloha, so get...

This is probably one of the best Poke spots available to us all in the area. They have a terrific selection of the standard fish cuts with rice and salads for those trying to stave off carbs. The proves are high but it's a niche product in a niche area so they are more than reasonable with massive portions. Fish gets piled high in your bowl with about fifteen other additions that come in the "toppings" section of the Chipotle style line. I highly recommend you come try this spot. They have amazing sauces, fresh fish, and spam musubi to add. Come get it!!!!

Oh my! I live in Renton and had to travel for work. On my way back, I decided to search for a poke takeout and I was not disappointed! Poke Pop is the best poke I’ve ever had! Everything was so, so fresh! Shrimp and salmon were delicious! Let me go on about the salmon! Every single bite was tender, not chewy, and absolutely not fishy! My two favorite poke places near me in Renton have been going down hill with the quality of their fish. I would honestly consider making the drive to Tacoma just to have Poke Pop again! Delicious!!!

Compared to other poké places, this place is ok. Its close to home so that makes it better. Tofu was flavorless, and was the same price as the regular poké... Which I found odd and there were only 6 pieces of tofu. The sauces were the only thing that saved the tofu. I know, you are probably wondering why I would go to a poké place and eat tofu... Its because my fiancé love poké and I am vegan. So we compromise on places tthat have a tofu option. Overall, ill come back only because its closer than our normal poké place.
