The Mail Room — Local services in University Place

I get that people like the vibes here, but enough to be charged nearly 3x shipping rates? They’ve either really cracked the code with the locals, or I put a target on my back as a soon-to-be-former one.

I went in recently with some UPS boxes for a cross-country move. I mentioned wanting to media mail some things as well and was told they wouldn't charge packing fees for “just putting some books into a box” (important for later). At the time he quoted me $1000 for my five UPS boxes (around 250lbs total). It sounded obscene to me; I also had 8 more boxes to go. I may have been desperate to get things done but I wasn’t THAT desperate. I told him it was too high and I couldn’t do it, and I’d have to figure things out. So I shoved the boxes back into my car and went home.

Within a few hours I had figured things out to the tune of

5 stars !!!When air printing isn’t an option and your iPhone’s memory storage is full, emailing is out of the question, and you need a photo out of your phone ASAP - Brandon is there to save your day! Literally!

... There are lights in windows, warm tunes will snuggle your ears, colorful interior will brighten your soul and friendly welcome will give you a nice touch- start. The four legged,wagging tail, standing lovingly by the owner’s side would make you feel like home! I have no doubt that some people might just stop by the new mailroom without no need of business, but to revisit and admire the prefect ownership and call it a “ best part of their day”.

I have been helped when I least expected and needed the most!!! Brandon was so cool and came with a simple solution to my printing problem while three other places I visited didn’t think of it, including myself!

My desire to revisit starts now, and I will do so just to threw some, previously purchased, candy wrappers into the artsy-deco -style -yellow trash bin that looks so inviting that you would never have to ask where can you dispose your unwanted idoms.

You will enjoy while “taking care of business” not only because you were helped,but also for the overal visual satisfaction! So, stop by and be highly satisfied with your short stay. Next time I will grab my kids along to check out the awesome bubble gum machine and...

My first experience at The Mail Room was simply dropping off a return package that didn’t need postage...Brandon was super friendly & upbeat w/o making me feel uncomfortable...I dropped many of those packages off before realizing that it would be in my best interest to open a mail box as I was moving and it would not only be so very convenient, but I wouldn’t have to worry about any of my packages being left at my front door & possibly be stolen fwhen I wasn’t home like we, unfortunately, are seeing more & more all the time. I have bought gifts from their large assortment of really cool items that I haven’t seen anywhere else & they take care of all of my “mailing” needs from USPS to FedEx to UPS & More! Brandon & Brit make everyone feel like family—They are not only genuine, but they are as good as they come & I love supporting such awesome people that live in our community!
