Meh. I want business like this in my community to thrive, and I’d support them if the quality was there. Despite more people working than guests, and me browsing shelves, gelato, macarons and pastries, it was minutes before anyone said a word to me. Layout of the store is awkward, having queue/register ending in corner in back, leaving you trapped by the line and crowded seating. 100% sure macarons are frozen, as not crisp on outside, chewy almost cake like on inside. Flavors & Ffllings varied from good to too sweet or artificial tasting, but texture was the biggest let down. Fruit jellies tasted good, though. I ordered a latte— person helping me was kind enough to let me know if I registered for their customer list I’d get the latte free. (Which I did) Latte was made more like a cappuccino, though, as by the time I walked to my car in the garage in 60 seconds any foam was gone and my cup was like 2/3 full. Le Macaron is a French bakery in Indianapolis that specializes in macarons. The macarons at Le Macaron have a nice crunchy outside texture and a chewy inside, but the flavors are a bit subtle. I was hoping for more intense flavors, especially in the more unique flavors like columbian coffee and tiramisu.

The price point at Le Macaron is very high, with a dozen costing 36 dollars. However, the presentation in the box is above average. The macarons are placed neatly in a box. Service was fast and friendly.

Parking is located in the parking lot behind the store, which is convenient as the store is located on the main street without parking.

Overall, I would recommend Le Macaron if you are looking for macarons with a nice texture and presentation. However, if you are looking for macarons with intense flavors, you may want to look elsewhere.

I am a member of the Hamilton County crochet group that meets at Le Macaron. I have been coming to the Fisher’s location for about a year now, 1-2 times a month, and have had nothing less than a 10/10 experience. The location has ample parking. It is always clean. The staff is phenomenal. They also host events such as a teddy bear tea party and almost always have new treats when I visit.

I was recently in NYC and purchased macarons at a high end luxury cafe, which were not half the quality of the macarons at Le Macaron. I cannot recommend enough—whether you are getting a cup of coffee with the girls or celebrating a birthday, they are sure to exceed your expectations.
