As a connoisseur of culinary delights, I ventured into the world of Chipotle with great anticipation. Armed with a discerning palate and an insatiable appetite, I eagerly ordered a salad bowl, envisioning a cornucopia of flavors bursting forth in a bountiful display. Alas, my dreams were dashed as I beheld the sad sight before me.
The salad bowl, or should I say "salad crater," was filled to a paltry one-third of its capacity, as if the ingredients were playing hide-and-seek, with most of them being the elusive ones. It was a game of "spot the missing ingredient" that left me scratching my head in bewilderment. Was it a treasure hunt, or was Chipotle playing a cruel joke on me? I couldn't help but chuckle at the absurdity of it all.
Undeterred, I sought solace in the comforting embrace of Chipotle's online customer feedback portal, hoping for a remedy to my culinary conundrum. But alas, the only offering in their arsenal of apologies was a "free drink." A single sip to quench the hunger of a thousand missing ingredients? I had to resist the urge to burst into laughter.
It wasn't my first rodeo with this particular Chipotle location, and sadly, history repeated itself. The portion sizes were reminiscent of a Lilliputian feast, leaving me hungering for more, both in terms of quantity and quality. It's a comedy of proportions that left me with a heavy heart and a rumbling stomach.
As a self-proclaimed food aficionado, I demand more than just a punchline on my plate. I crave an epicurean experience that leaves me satiated in both body and soul. Alas, this Chipotle location failed to deliver, leaving me with no choice but to bid it adieu. Farewell, Chipotle of scarce salads and stingy portions, for I shall not grace your doors again.
In conclusion, if you enjoy a good laugh and a comically minuscule portion of food, this Chipotle location may be right up your alley. But for those seeking a satisfying meal and a dining experience that doesn't leave you in stitches (unless from laughter), I suggest looking elsewhere. Bon appétit, my fellow foodies, and may your culinary adventures be filled with more substance than my ill-fated encounter...
Read moreIf I could give zero stars, I would. We arrived at 9:05 PM to the 116th street Chipotle only to find the dining room was closed (there were two tables of customers eating inside). This location is is supposed to close at 10:00. I knocked on the door but the employees kept ignoring me so I continued to knock until one came to the door to tell me they had closed early. Another customer told me I could order online and go through the drive-through. While my two teens were choosing their orders, at least eight customers walked up thinking they could get in because, again, that location was supposed to be open until 10:00. Of those other customers, two told me that they were going to Torchy’s across the street. Torchy’s was still open to customers. Our food was supposed to be ready at 9:20, but at 9:20 it was still being prepared. The employee working the drive-through then asked me what size small drink I wanted with my order. Clearly, a 22-ounce Tractor Organic Lemonade had been ordered, not a small drink. We decided to sit outside but when the two kids checked the bag, there was no silverware. At that point, I had had it with that place so I took the kids to the Kroger across the street where I purchased a box of plastic forks so they could eat their food. We had just come from a track meet 35 minutes away and they were hungry and just wanted to eat. Now we’re sitting outside Kroger...
Read moreThis location has gone completely downhill. The last two times I’ve ordered pick up have been TERRIBLE. Most recently, I ordered a pick up order through the website. I arrive and there’s 12 cars in front of mine (not exaggerating). After sitting there for 10 mins and not moving, I walk inside. I stood at the counter for 10 mins before anyone spoke to me. When I gave the staff my name, she said I’d need to wait for someone else to help me. There were 3 people working the carry out area. The two teenage boys were laughing and talking, working at a snails pace despite the orders overflowing and cars waiting excessive amounts of time in the pick up lane. Finally someone asked for my name and my order wasn’t ready (despite the pick up time being 30 mins earlier). The staff then gave me my order, with a kids meal, chips and drink missing and the hot sauce spilled in the bag all over everything as I walked out. When I came back in and asked them to remake it, they refused. When I asked for my chips, they said they were out. I asked if they refunded me for the chips they were “out” of, to which she said no and to contact the website to figure it out. Currently trying to find a customer service number to get a FULL refund. The other items weren’t prepared correctly and we could’ve even eat it because the salsa seeped into the other food items.
