It was actually three home deliveries. Excellent Vegetarian ( suggestion: add the artichokes) Medium Pizza feeds my two University neighbors, two brilliant young men and recovering from hypothermia lil ol lady me (I'm 62 years younger and younger each day). Whoever answers the phone is always polite and cordial no matter how chaotic things sound in the background, the pizza always of the highest quality. The business is not a chain, it's truly local, like Odegaard's Sewing Center. The delivery young men are always themselves and interesting and enthusiastic and kind. I got turned onto them by an old friend no longer living in Flagstaff when it was in The Old Basha's Shopping Center just down from The FMC (The Hospital to our out of town visitors)(at least I think that's where they were located, if memory serves. But it may not.....and I'd recommend this Restaurant To President Barack Obama & Michelle & Daughters and President Mother-In-Law & Vice President Joe and 2nd Lady Dr. Jill Biden and Clan and Staff & Supporters 8 days of the week (The Beatles), that is, if I really could. Oh, but wait a minute. They just love Gossip. Maybe I just did. They invited me to The Inauguration when I was and still am money poor. They have money. You never know who you are going to see. And you won't be hallucinating. They are just folk, folks. Don't be daunted. Barry loves to reach out, play with children and dogs, Michelle, among her many other gifts and talents has mastered hip hop (I can't even hop once anymore).....but this isn't about me. This is the Best Pizza outside of Napoli!!!!! +++++ Five Stars +. Help us make it to 10 for them. Spread the word. Support your Local Businesses. And no, I am not from the Chamber of Commerce....I just volunteer Volunteer Volunteer!!! Like Mr. Community Serviceman did. You should know him by now. Call him Mr. President or Barry or any other appropriate name but just EAT NiMarco's Yayyyyyyy! You never know who you'll see, meet there. But whomever you meet, it will be written in the stars, and no, I'm not an astronomer and certainly not a astrologist....but before or after you eat at DiMarco's, Visit Lowell Observatory. The planet discovered here (dwarf or so they say) was named after a Disney Dog. Or a Mediterranean god. Or Vica Versa. But don't forget take out. AT...
Read moreFirst experience was positive, Jack was great! Arrived at probably the worst time possible, 7PM on a Saturday night right after all the college kids moved into Flagstaff. This place was slammed! Nonetheless, I was able to get 2 slices, 1 sausage and 1 pepperoni & jalapeño, for about $6 and within 10 minutes. I opted for takeout and walked about 12 minutes back home. Pizza was exactly the way I like it, still warm but not so hot that the cheese was impossible to chew. Their dough is very good and probably my favorite aspect, soft and well-risen but not too doughy and also not a thin, brittle disappointment with no black or burned grease flavors on the bottom, which is a huge positive for me personally. Sauce was good but perhaps not as sweet as I recall the pizza I grew up with? Toppings were also very good, especially the beef & pork fennel-based Italian sausage. The overall flavors were solid, not too salty or greasy but still very indulgent, great balance. I used a little habanero hot sauce to kick the slices up a notch but they were great on their own. The staff were all very pleasant and hard working despite being a bit overwhelmed with customers. This place can get very busy and they were quoting hour waits for full pizzas, so plan accordingly. Shout out to Jack who I spoke with when I called a few hours before I went there with a few questions. He was very informative, friendly, enthusiastic, and above all patient. He's definitely an asset to the establishment and I will be returning soon, just more strategically to avoid adding more...
Read moreTerrible service. This has happened more than once now at this particular location. I will not be going to this place again. Tonight, after waiting at least 30 mins for one existing slice of pizza and a garden salad, I kindly reminded the cashier of my order placed. She told me they would get it. I asked why the salad was taking so long, but she just said it was being prepared (mind you at least 30 mins had elapsed). I waited several minutes again, and then I asked a second person if I could get my money back and stressed I no longer wanted the food and that I needed to leave. Then, two people acknowledged that they would get the food. I pointed to the slices of pizza in view indicating its availability and said a salad was also ordered. They had me wait again. Finally, I stood right next to the register and had to raise my voice and demanded my money back immediately. They scrambled about for a bit longer, there was still little concern/help, and finally they produced a slice of pizza (not the original flavor I ordered but at that point a piece of pizza of any kind I indicated would suffice) and a little prepackaged salad. I don't understand what took so long and why I simply could not get my money back when I asked for it at least twice. (Why was my money not given back when I asked?) I do not plan to go back to this place. The three workers (three different people ultimately became haphazardly involved) I encountered were not helpful. And I rarely review places but felt the manager...
