We ordered from Pizza Guy at 6:25 PM through their website (which runs on the Slice app). Delivery was first estimated for 6:45–7:00 PM, then updated to 7:07–7:17 PM. We tracked the order in the Slice app, which kept saying “out for delivery,” but nothing ever showed up.
By 7:29 PM, I contacted Slice customer service. They told me the pizza would arrive “any minute.” Twenty minutes later at 7:47 PM, I reached out again and got the exact same response: “any minute.” Finally, at 7:58 PM, our neighbors called to let us know the driver was at their house trying to deliver our order.
When we finally received the food, part of the order was missing and the pizza was nearly cold. Slice support claimed they couldn’t reach the restaurant, but when I called Pizza Guy directly, I immediately got through to Brad. He admitted the issue and said he would approve a refund, but only if I went through Slice. I asked Slice to call Brad (since I had just spoken with him myself), but they said they’d “try tomorrow.” Eventually, Slice came back and said Pizza Guy only approved a 50% refund because I technically received the food—even though it was cold, incomplete, and misdelivered.

After a busy signal with 5 tries, I went to the “contact” section on the website which had a paragraph on texting your order in. “ We've made ordering hot & fresh Flagstaff pizza easier than ever with our convenient text message and online orders. Receive special offers and more - all through the convenience of text messaging! Ordering PIZZA and WINGS from The Pizza Guy is as simple as sending us a short text” After no response to the text and 15 minutes passed, I tried to call again. This time I talked with Madison and asked if they had received my texted order. She told me “What?! We don’t take texts.” Perhaps employees/ owners should check their website information. Most people would have moved on to another place. Let’s hope the hassle is worth it!
Here we are 45 minutes later and I have to say that the pizza was delivered in record time and straight to our door in the hotel! It was very good and I would definitely use this place again when I’m in town. They redeemed the rude, misinformed, first-impression Madison on the phone. She used to hand pass out flyers and even has spoken highly of his employees and pizza numerous times. Upon arriving Tom and the other two gentleman there were talking amongst themselves about a customer in which they didn't understand her order. I found it to be very unprofessional in which the way they were speaking. I continued to pay for my order and noticed our $24+ pizza was soggy and not fully cooked so I proceeded to ask them to place it back in the oven. Tom seemed very annoyed with my request and asked for assistance as to how long it should go back in. He was not kind nor friendly by any means and seems to have forgot that he applied for his position and has TERRIBLE customer service skills. He was irritated that he forgot the ranch I paid for and didn't seem pleased when I simply asked for parm and peppers.
