The food here is amazing; the best in Flag. Unfortunately the service is as bad as the food is good. I'd say you only have a 50% of getting your food how you ordered it. If you are someone who doesn't want lettuce or pico or whatever, expect to be disappointed. If you make a large order, expect one or two small things to be wrong or missing. Also, you might think I'm exaggerating, but I'm not. I eat here often and, amazingly, my order was wrong three times in a row. If you order from the girl, your order will right. If you order from the "cool-guy" with tattoos, the order will be off despite plenty of his "I got you bro" schtick. So it's kinda like the soupnazi from Seinfeld: food so good that you put up with the abuse hahaha. That said, it has gotten a little better since they went to electronic point of sale. Another thing is that they must be doing well business-wise because the prices are going up while the portions are shrinking. The burritos are probs 1/4 smaller than they were 6 months ago. Please please please run your business as well...
Read moreWow, what a value! I cannot remember a mexican restaurant I have been to in the last 10 years that had such good prices. We were coming through Flagstaff on the way to Sedona and I happily found this place right here on Yelp.
Three enchiladas (cheese chicken or beef) with rice & beans for 8 bucks is unheard of! What made it such a value was how dang good they were. The beans were perfectly creamy and their red/enchilada sauce was magical. As good as it was, it was outshined by (of all things) their huevos rancheros! My son got it, but couldn't eat it all, so I helped him. They put what they call their green chile sauce on those and I can't decide which sauce I liked more. Their made-in-house tortillas were top notch. My daughter made a pretty good dent in the Carne Azada platter, but they gave her a ton of steak. We helped her...
Read moreStopped here on a road trip back to Indiana from Southern CA and went off based on Google maps rating. A bit disappointed. Maybe I’m used to the amount of meat they put in tacos in Los Angeles and Indianapolis, but these were skimpy. I should’ve taken photos but the amount of meat in the mini and regular is the same! The only difference is the size of the tortilla. Place is clean and they are friendly, but definitely overpriced. I do appreciate that they give larger cuts of lime. I enjoyed the avocado salsa in the yellow squeeze bottle. Mom ordered: mini asada taco and a regular carnitas. I ordered: 2 carne asada taco combo with all rice, no beans. Carne asada was fairly dry, but decently seasoned. Rice was ok, a little on the salty side. Mom says...
