DO NOT STAY HERE WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!! I want my money back! We booked using the pay at property option so we could pay with cash. We used a card only to secure the reservation. They charged my card the full amount of $305.60 at 9am the day we were set to arrive, well before check in. I demanded a refund on the card and told him he was not authorized to use the card unless I was a no show. He yelled at me and said its his right and they could do what they wanted with the card so that they would not be screwed out of their money. If I didn't like it I could leave. He knew all the hotels were booked for family weekend at the local college and I had no choice. When he finally submitted for a refund and we got to the room I wanted to cry. I was paying $150 a night for a nightmare. We immediately called Days Inn to file a complaint. The room was disgusting. Fixtures were cracked and broken, the room was dusty and looked like it had bugs of some sort. The shower in the bathroom was 5ft tall and the water would burn you then freeze you and there was no bathtub stopper. The condensation gathered on the ceiling and dripped all over the place. The heater didn't turn off when you used the thermostat it was either on or off. There was no emergency evacuation instructions. The door did not have a seal around parts of it and let in the cold air from outside. The walls and frames were dirty and banged up with chipping paint. I will never stay here again and would not suggest anyone else does either. These are some of the pictures from 220.

Pret-ty disgusting. Stained, grimy chairs. Torn lampshade. Heavy musty smell, and who knows what immediately set off our kid's allergies. Online reservation was made for a room for 5. Room had 2 queen beds. When we asked for a rollaway, front desk guy said that would be another $20/night, and wouldn't bend on the price. With the $20/night factored in, this was no good deal. We immediately booked a room elsewhere. Even though this place wouldn't refund the first night, and even though I hate wasting money, we just couldn't bring ourselves to spend a single night here. Ended up happy to pay a little more for a very clean, new place across town. Called manager after this to request refund for the first night (we'd only briefly been in and had not used the room at all). Refused. Said it was renovated within the past six months. From a yard sale, or do they have the hardest-living guests in the world? NOTHING in that room looked close to new.

BED BUGS - LYING MANAGER- worst customer service ever! Woke up to my child yelling there was a bug on my pillow. Removed the bug to the exterior, got photo and video evidence, squished bug, packed up, checked out, made complaint. Was told by desk person that they would refund, but would have to get approval from third party billing (hotels.com). Called third party and they requested the refund from Days Inn, who claimed they never found anything and would not refund. Called Days Inn, who claimed Hotels.com never called and we never complained. Just the beginning of over a week of calls to "mike" who doesn't know his manager's name, gives false excuses and lies. In short, DO NOT STAY if you don't like to share a bed with bugs or support liars. Wouldn't let me upload the video of the crawling bed bug and the room number.

We booked here because it looked decent in photos and everything else was booked. It was like a motel, not a a hotel. We had a group of 18 (4 families) and booked 4 rooms. My sister arrived early and asked for adjoining rooms which the very friendly lady said she would arrange. When the rest of us arrived to check in a man (not friendly and I will not refer him as a gentleman because he was rude) checked us in. Our rooms were not adjoining and 2 rooms were on opposite sides of the hotel. He said he had nothing next to each other. Then we get to our rooms and it smells like bug spray. We had to air it out and check for bed bugs since it wasn't the cleanest place. We also had to buy candles to overpower the stink in the rooms. Its freezing in our room because our heater doesn't work but they said it worked fine when they checked it. We had all our stuff out when leaving for the day so I called and requested they not clean our rooms. The rude man says "you have a dog?" I told him no. He says he saw one and I was like "not mine cause none of have a dog, I just don't want you in my room with my stuff out." Our second night we were playing games with the kids and the neighbor said we were too loud so the same rude man called us to let us know to keep it down. We did and moved the kids over a room (this wouldn't have a problem if our rooms were adjoining as requested and told they would be). Later that night my sister gets woken up because some kids are playing outside and the rude man assumes it ours who are nicely tucked in bed. He calls her at 1030pm to tell her to bring the kids in. She told him not my kids. He said he called down the list of rooms for the parents. Really dude? You called everyone in the hotel or just wanted to harass our family? Cause there were tons of people there with kids. The water in the showers went from hot to cold while showering. The water in our sink dripped because the faucet was broken. There were cob webs in corners by the ceilings and crumbs in corners by the floor. There was a small hole in the wall under the desk. There were filthy chairs for sitting at the table. Then at checkout my sister was double charged because as the rude man said "the fat lady messed up and she is at the hospital now having surgery for cancer." Are you seriously referring to your staff member as "the fat lady"? And are you telling her protected health information to guests? What kind of jerk are you? Wyndham should be disgusted with this place and the person they have running it. It was one of the worst hotels I have ever been too. The only good thing they had was a pool table where we could hang out for a couple hours as a family. I dont recommend it to anyone who wants a clean and friendly atmosphere. They will never get my...

Lobby: very spacious and well laid out. Has two pool tables and foosball table. Lots of tables and chairs for sitting areas. Carpet and furniture a little worn. But comfortable. 1 Small tv but never on.

Room. Basic layout. Nothing spectacular but comfortable. What was expected for the class. Towels are thin and small. Most things were well kept. Considering the hotel was full, the noise level from neighbors was pretty quiet ( well insulated)

The above alone would have earned a solid three but this is where the score dropped.

  1. hardware in bathtub was not secured to wall. Water leaking from the valves. House keeping should be communicating repair needs to maintenance
  2. there was mold in the bathroom lighting . . Lots of it visible. It would be so easy to clean it but hasn't been done in a while it seems
  3. weatherstripping around doors non existent. It was cold outside and you could feel the cold air come in the room along the jambs. This meant the heater was constantly on at night . . . Very loud and dry air blowing all night meant little sleep. Finally bought some duct tape to tape up the gaps in the door. The last night the heater went on less frequently because warm air was not being replaced by cold.
  4. main walk from rooms to lobby not cleared for guests. One long stretch of walkway not cleared after snow. Very unsafe. This is a mountain hotel so they should plan a accordingly and have walk cleared. This was close to check out time so I wasn't early riser
  5. front desk staff needs training. I went to front desk to ask for manager. Team member said he wasn't in (10am).I gave the team member my room number and told her about the room and she kept nodding her head and saying uh huh. I explained 1 through 4 and then said I was surprised she wasn't writing this down. as soon as I told her I didn't like writing negative reviews without talking to the manager first she finally grabbed a piece of paper and asked what room was that again. Needless to say I never got an apology or I will have the manager call you or thank you for staying with us. Completely detached. At least this staff member needs some serious training.

if you're on a budget this place isn't a bad place to go to just as long as you're aware of what you're getting into. But I won't stay here again.

I've read the responses from management to similar customer complaints . . . those responses apologize but for months and months they thank the guests, but the same complaints keep coming up . . . i don't think they are doing anything to improve...

Absolutely repulsive room and customer service. I had stayed at this hotel during the holidays in room 103. They had been accomodating in the beggining as we had booked online for a 4 night stay. We has stayed the first night and my partner had complained of an itchy feeling the next morning as well as many red bumps all over their body. We had known this to be bed bugs and checked the sheets accordingly. The sheets were stained with a small amount of red blood and so we had taken a picture of the bed stains and the bumps to show to the hotel management. Apon requesting managment and explaining the predicament we had been told that we could move to room 123. We had been given that room and we requested bags to put our clothes in so we wouldnt infest the new room or our HOME when we decide to leave. The hotel sent someone to come and bring us bags and we received a new key. We spent that second night bagging our clothes and placing them in the car until around 1 in the morning. We stayed in the new room for the night and my partner felt uncomfortable so we requested we could check out that day and not stay the additional nights with no charge. The hotel staff was very rude told us to leave with no guarantee of our money back. They directed us to "call the service we booked from" for a refund and did not help us in finding that number to dial or accomodate with any form of compansation. We then contacted our booking website. told them the predicament EXPEDIA. The customer service agent was very nice. Placed us on a breif hold and then contacted the hotel, she came back to inform us that the hotel staff told her that they have a STRICT NO REFUND POLICY. which is ridiculous seeing as the hotel staff told us to call the line of our booking company to get that refund. We also did not stay the last 2 nights so charging us for these dates is wrong. Bottom line, DO NOT book at this hotel as they have no customer service, you may leave with bedbugs if you stay in some of their rooms, and they wont give you a refund or help...
