We booked here because it looked decent in photos and everything else was booked. It was like a motel, not a a hotel. We had a group of 18 (4 families) and booked 4 rooms. My sister arrived early and asked for adjoining rooms which the very friendly lady said she would arrange. When the rest of us arrived to check in a man (not friendly and I will not refer him as a gentleman because he was rude) checked us in. Our rooms were not adjoining and 2 rooms were on opposite sides of the hotel. He said he had nothing next to each other. Then we get to our rooms and it smells like bug spray. We had to air it out and check for bed bugs since it wasn't the cleanest place. We also had to buy candles to overpower the stink in the rooms. Its freezing in our room because our heater doesn't work but they said it worked fine when they checked it. We had all our stuff out when leaving for the day so I called and requested they not clean our rooms. The rude man says "you have a dog?" I told him no. He says he saw one and I was like "not mine cause none of have a dog, I just don't want you in my room with my stuff out." Our second night we were playing games with the kids and the neighbor said we were too loud so the same rude man called us to let us know to keep it down. We did and moved the kids over a room (this wouldn't have a problem if our rooms were adjoining as requested and told they would be). Later that night my sister gets woken up because some kids are playing outside and the rude man assumes it ours who are nicely tucked in bed. He calls her at 1030pm to tell her to bring the kids in. She told him not my kids. He said he called down the list of rooms for the parents. Really dude? You called everyone in the hotel or just wanted to harass our family? Cause there were tons of people there with kids. The water in the showers went from hot to cold while showering. The water in our sink dripped because the faucet was broken. There were cob webs in corners by the ceilings and crumbs in corners by the floor. There was a small hole in the wall under the desk. There were filthy chairs for sitting at the table. Then at checkout my sister was double charged because as the rude man said "the fat lady messed up and she is at the hospital now having surgery for cancer." Are you seriously referring to your staff member as "the fat lady"? And are you telling her protected health information to guests? What kind of jerk are you? Wyndham should be disgusted with this place and the person they have running it. It was one of the worst hotels I have ever been too. The only good thing they had was a pool table where we could hang out for a couple hours as a family. I dont recommend it to anyone who wants a clean and friendly atmosphere. They will never get my...
Read moreLobby: very spacious and well laid out. Has two pool tables and foosball table. Lots of tables and chairs for sitting areas. Carpet and furniture a little worn. But comfortable. 1 Small tv but never on.
Room. Basic layout. Nothing spectacular but comfortable. What was expected for the class. Towels are thin and small. Most things were well kept. Considering the hotel was full, the noise level from neighbors was pretty quiet ( well insulated)
The above alone would have earned a solid three but this is where the score dropped.
if you're on a budget this place isn't a bad place to go to just as long as you're aware of what you're getting into. But I won't stay here again.
I've read the responses from management to similar customer complaints . . . those responses apologize but for months and months they thank the guests, but the same complaints keep coming up . . . i don't think they are doing anything to improve...
Read moreAbsolutely repulsive room and customer service. I had stayed at this hotel during the holidays in room 103. They had been accomodating in the beggining as we had booked online for a 4 night stay. We has stayed the first night and my partner had complained of an itchy feeling the next morning as well as many red bumps all over their body. We had known this to be bed bugs and checked the sheets accordingly. The sheets were stained with a small amount of red blood and so we had taken a picture of the bed stains and the bumps to show to the hotel management. Apon requesting managment and explaining the predicament we had been told that we could move to room 123. We had been given that room and we requested bags to put our clothes in so we wouldnt infest the new room or our HOME when we decide to leave. The hotel sent someone to come and bring us bags and we received a new key. We spent that second night bagging our clothes and placing them in the car until around 1 in the morning. We stayed in the new room for the night and my partner felt uncomfortable so we requested we could check out that day and not stay the additional nights with no charge. The hotel staff was very rude told us to leave with no guarantee of our money back. They directed us to "call the service we booked from" for a refund and did not help us in finding that number to dial or accomodate with any form of compansation. We then contacted our booking website. told them the predicament EXPEDIA. The customer service agent was very nice. Placed us on a breif hold and then contacted the hotel, she came back to inform us that the hotel staff told her that they have a STRICT NO REFUND POLICY. which is ridiculous seeing as the hotel staff told us to call the line of our booking company to get that refund. We also did not stay the last 2 nights so charging us for these dates is wrong. Bottom line, DO NOT book at this hotel as they have no customer service, you may leave with bedbugs if you stay in some of their rooms, and they wont give you a refund or help...
