Budget Inn — Hotel in Flagstaff

Yes, very clean rooms. Old duvet. Modern fridge and micro. New flat screen tv's. Once again, the remote control situation irks me. Someone is marketing a "Clean remote" to these chain motels. It's a remote which can be wiped down by the maids when you leave in order to prevent the spread of germs. Well, that's wonderful. But, these remotes don't allow you to press a button and see what's on a particular channel, when it's over, and whats on next. I'd rather take my chances on a remote with a guide button, than have a very sanitary remote that does nothing but change the channel, and adjust the volume. I wish I could complain to the company who manufactures and distributes this stupid remote to all the goddamn hotels, but since I cant, I have to complain about the hotels who purchase them. But, yes, other than that, the room is clean, all fixtures are brand new, and they are shiny and polished... doesn't look like much from the outside, clean and nice...

Travailing sure is an exhausted activity. Every night, I really need a good place to stay. With limited budget, I have to compromise not to stay 5 star hotel for relaxing. For me, it doesn’t matter if the hotel has long history, even it looks old, but the room has to be clean. When my wife and I checked in and saw the room, we were happy. The bed sheets are clean, they have freshener in the room, slightly not heavy. My skin is sensitive, I get itchy when the bed sheet is not clean. After one night, it proved the room service department is really doing the jobs. With Budget Inn, I feel every penny I spent is worth. Not a lot, with $100. Maybe we were just lucky, be arranged to a clean room. But I will definitely give this place a try if I pass this...

We Booked our stay a few months in advance. When we arrived the manager got us checked in right away. Upon entering the room you could see that the room was clean and it smelled that way usually you can smell some kind of odor in older hotels/motels but not this one. We took a walk around Flagstaff just looking and when we got back for some reason our door key card was not working we tried it several times but nothing worked. I’m not sure if the key card was registering in there system or the manager seen us in the cameras but he meet us at our door got us into our room fixed the problem immediately and then he brought us new keycards.
