Apple Annie's Deli & Pub — Restaurant in Florence

Keep charging card!!!! My roommate and I were here on the 22nd of Dec we got a bill for $35.36, (he left a 6 dollar tip, not 20%, this will be important later) my roommate paid and we left. Sometime after midnight his card was hit again for $45.00, no change. His account also had the first charge at Apple Annie's for 34.36, not 35.36 his receipt has on it, what's this about? This was all around 5:45ish. Then the other change for the 45.00 sometime after 12:00. He went back up to Apple Annie's before they closed and asked the bartender, who was now sitting at a table, about the second charge and she said "Oh yeah you're the guy who didn't tip enough". I was just drinking soda water b/c I was driving home so none of the bill was mine. I just wanted to put that out there. When he woke up this morning, Dec. 24, he came into my room and woke me up and told me they charged his card again, for 40.36. He showed me all the transactions on his phone, so it's all true. What kind of scams are the night employees playing on the patrons that come in just to drink. Now for the over-serving. All of his drinks were STRONG. He was drinking screwdrivers and even with the drinks being strong one drink he showed me was slightly tinged with OJ. I typically don’t leave reviews, especially negative ones, but after my visit I was left feeling highly irate. i had a late night at work & i literally just wanted a couple of shots before i went home. I got there around 1:30AM & i understand that the bar closes at 2AM & workers are exhausted & want nothing more than to go home, but that doesn’t excuse the bartender to disregard my entire existence and allow me to sit there for 10 minutes while she literally ran her mouth to the other 3 people in the bar & proceed to have a entire phone conversation right in front my face. i literally had to ask her if she was still serving & that’s when she finally told me “no” after sitting there for 10 minutes. i’m not upset at the fact that she stop serving, i’m upset because she allowed me to sit there for that long when all she could’ve said was “sorry, we’re currently shutting down & we stopped serving” like i said, i understand she was probably tired & wanted to go home, but what baffled me was that she couldn’t serve me, but was still serving other patrons ??? okay. i was planning on leaving her a generous tip, because i genuinely felt bad for coming in that late, but after that, she won’t ever have to worry about seeing me no more & what would have been her tip is just more money in my...

Went with a group of co-workers for lunch. Was seated and our server was awesome, knew how to have fun and be professional. Took our orders, gave us refills in good time. Problem was we waited for our orders, over 45 minutes. Once we realized it was going to take too long to enjoy on site, we asked to get out orders togo. I ordered a chicken tender basket, buffaloed, with fries. I'll start off and say, the fries were on point! But the low rating goes to my tenders ( also another co-worker got plain tenders as well with same outcome) our tenders were so overcooked it was comical, almost like it was on purpose even though I know that's ridiculous. Maybe not a lunch break and not on company time, I would go back again and give them a chance. I enjoyed the atmosphere and our server. Mistakes happen but this was not the best...
