I'm not a picky person or hard to please. I've worked fast food before so i know mistakes happen and when it gets slammed it can be hard to keep up with orders and cleaning off tables what not, but this was just ridiculous. This was by far the worst fast food experience of my life.
First off, the place wasn't very busy when we walked. It was around 5:30. The place was a wreck. There was only one wiped off table and the bottle of cleaner was sitting in the seat. The floor was beyond filthy. The dinning room looked as if it hadn't been touched all day, except for the one table.
I had to take a moment to decide what i wanted. The cashier barely acknowledged our presence and the crew in the back were all leaning against counters with their arms crossed and talking about inappropriate things and using foul language. Once we were ready to order I had to restart my order three times before the cashier started paying enough attention to ring up the order. She was staring out the windows. I had to repeat a few things a couple times. They gave us our drink cups and I went to get some tea. The containers were empty. I asked the cashier if they had any tea made up behind the counter. She asked me if I wanted sweet or unsweetened and I asked if I could get half and half. When she gave me my cup back it was filled with unsweetened tea. If they were out of sweet she failed to mention it.
After waiting for about ten minutes, give or take, we got our order. I asked for sauce for my onion chips and did a quick check to make sure we had the correct amount of items. We did, but once we got to the car and drove 4 minutes to our destination we were greatly disappointed. I ordered the ultimate sriracha chicken sandwich combo, medium, with onion chips instead of fries and a veggie slider with honey mustard. My boyfriend ordered the ultimate jalapeño slider combo, medium. His fries were ice cold, my onion chips were a little overcooked, the chicken sliders didn't have cheese or jalapeños and were hard and dry, and the veggie slider was burnt on one side and didn't have any sauce.
I hate giving a review like this cause I really like White Castle, but this was a horrible experience. Needless to say, we won't be back. We'll go to...
Read moreHaven’t been to a White Castle in years & this one was just down the road from our motel, so talked the kids into trying it. The cashier didn’t even know how much coin change I gave him, he just looked @ it in his hand & said “how many cents is that” - say what??? My grandson only likes ketchup & cheese on any burger & we struggled getting that across to the cashier as well; “meat, cheese & ketchup only” & he had to ask me like 5 times to make sure he had it right. He has no business working the front country taking orders & payments!
The dining room’s tables were in dire need of cleaning, we really had to look for a clean one. The floors were trashed, we waited a good 10 mins for our food so I went up to ask that same cashier how much longer: he said “I don’t know we’re pretty busy right now”, so I went back & sat down - I no longer was seated & he called my name to go back up to get my food 🤦🏻♀️
There were 4 ppl assembling burgers, there was only 1 other family in the dining room & we’d seen maybe 5-6 cars go thru the drive through. We didn’t finish the food - was VERY disappointed & won’t return again to ANY White Castle store!
There weren’t any napkins in the dispenser in the lobby, only 4 cup lids, no salt, no ketchup or no ranch!! We
When we left, the cashier & another guy looked directly as we walked out & never said a word: no goodbye; have a nice night; hope you enjoyed your meal, not 1 word.
This particular restaurant is in dire need of new management & keep the staff on top of sweeping, keeping the tables cleaned & the...
Read moreLet me preface with, I was really hoping to give a good review. I sat at the first window of the drive thru, thoroughly impressed with how friendly and helpful the woman who took my order was. Then I pulled up to the second window, waited several minutes, and got my food. I was missing (simple) items out of my order but I got a LARGE plastic bag for two small meals so it seemed accidental and I waited for someone to come back. Time passed, three cars pulled away from the first window while I continued to wait. Three employees walked back and forth past the window without even glancing at me as I waved to get someone's attention. By the time someone came to the window, which only happened because a woman in the car behind me told the woman working the first window that I was trying to get someone's attention, ten minutes has passed. I told the employee what I was missing, waited a few more minutes, and pulled away with my food no longer hot and my milkshake partially melted. The worst part is, I was just eating my food and found not one but several human hairs and dog hairs on my burger. I'm disgusted and so upset. I've lost my appetite and apparently wasted my money. Please, for the love of everything, teach your employees to use a lint roller before their shift and pull their hair back, this...
