The Richwood branch is the best Waffle House on this Earth. All the people who work mornings around 9am are awesome. Now I do have a complaint about Florence branch across the street from White Castles on route 42 in Florence Kentucky. I went in there more times than I would like and found it to be dirty in every seat. Once I sat down I had to wave down somebody to wait on me. In the store, it did not look that busy compared to my experiences at Richwood. The girl that finally waited on me was named Debra. she acted as if waiting on me was the last thing on Earth that she wanted to do. She never checked on me for coffee refill I had to wave her down several times to just get anything that I wanted. And when I asked her for things she gave me all kinds of attitude. I thought maybe the girl had a bad day and I would give the place another try so I went in there again another day maybe a week later. Guess what I was lucky to get Debra again. Come to my surprise she acted the same way towards me again. This time there was nearly no one in the store. I asked her if she was having a bad day. She said "everydays a bad day for me". So I stopped asking her questions and ate my food. I noticed that she was also like that with another customer. The guy told her that his waffle was the worst looking waffle he had ever seen. I have never heard somebody say that about a waffle that is way funny. However she was very rude to him and said something snotty back to him. Then took the waffle away from him and blurted out what he said to everyone in the whole place and sort of made fun of him to everyone. It was funny but you don't do that to customer. Anyway I just wanted to say that was the worst customer experience I had at the Waffle House. The Richwood branch has had its ups and downs since I've been going there for the last 14 years. But now the staff that you have there in the mornings is great. They all deserve a big fat raise. Especially Dan, Tiffany, Stephanie, Tess and a few others I can't remember their...
Read moreI unfortunately will not know about the food, I had the Dreadful experience of walking in when they were getting ready to perform an interview. Upon walking up to the interviewee they looked at them and asked their name they told them their name but then they told them the name they prefer to go by and the woman gave them a disgusted look. It was clear that the interview he was trans they did not dress feminine they even told them they preferred a different name and the woman looked even more disgusted and told them they were unprecentable to come back when they are dressed presentable and like a girl. The other employees there all had piercings and blue hair this interviewee did not look any different from those employees that were already currently working the only difference was that this interviewee was trans. It was so horrible I had to immediately leave I refuse to dine or go into any place of business that discriminates against anybody for any reason. They told them they had to come back and try the interview again when they are dressed like a girl and not a boy and looked more presentable that the tiniest little slit in their eyebrow was not acceptable and that their hairstyle was unacceptable their hair was blonde and brown they had an employee there with blue hair for...
Read moreDeb needs to go, plain and simple. I'm writing this as I sit in here on a Saturday around 430. Not a soul in here besides one other person. She acts like I'm bothering her by being in here and didn't even want to get me the main menu so I could see what type of omelets you have. She was openly perturbed about it by her demeanor. She was eating over the grill while her and the other woman that is cooking are so loud and careless with their speech about how they feel about everyone they work with including some guy named Chuck whom I'm assuming is the manager because they've done nothing but trash him the entire time and talk about how they weren't going to clean at the end of the shift.... gross. The food was hastily thrown together and the omelette looked like scrambled eggs with a bunch of crap mixed in. Cell phones were going off with loud rap music. I usually like waffle House and the last time I was in this one it was pleasant. Don't know if I'll be back though and I can tell you if I do decide to come back and I see either of those two in there working I'll walk right back out. Please don't make me feel like I waste my money with crap like this anymore. This is the first review I've written for any restaurant EVER and there's a...
