Been eating at Wingstop for years before I even moved to this area. So to say the least, I was excited to have one that didn't require crossing the river. Sadly this was probably the worst Wingstop experience I've ever had in a decade+. I gave it the benefit of the doubt ordering during its opening week. But Garlic Parmesan with literally no parmesan. Veggies that were actually rotting. Come on son.....When I called about the situation the manager was super nice and apologize but weirdly did not want to see the veggies. I felt a manager would want to see what their employees were handing out to customers when the food is clearly not even edible, but oh well.
We tried it again tonight and at this point I'm just sad and disappointed. I had such high hopes and was excited to redeem the place I raved to my wife about. She loves her wings and was excited with how much I talked the place up. Once again, garlic parm with little too no parm. The original hot was all just orange colored wings with no real flavor or kick to them. Fries were barely mediocre, not their crack addicting taste I forced myself to stop eating over the years due to how delicious they are. Well how they are at other locations.
I truly, truly hope this is just growing pains from a new location and not the norm. Either way, it will be some time before we trust this location again. Wings these days are far to costly for such a sub par presentation. How I long for a true Wingstop that is close to me.
Yes the employees are super nice and helpful. But being nice only goes so far and is not a reason for me to spend my money...
Read moreService: Tried placing an order at hour past 7 online shutdown cause they got backed up. Understandable since it’s Saturday. Called was told would be a hour wait, was able to place order after a hour. Delivery took a hour and half was missing all our extra sides (special fries, no drinks). Bill was $50+ we tipped 20% cause inflation is real people need real currency. Not worth waiting, not worth verbally requesting money back on Saturday night. Just know ordering from this establishment they can’t handle ramped up business on a Saturday. Wing Stop needs to pay their employees better (at least take whatever they’re paying the management to organize/ run the place) need to train up for high volume and help the kitchen staff setup. Disorganized throughout with trying to get orders out and properly correct. Delivery is third party serviced out (which shouldn’t be but is a real industry that people buy into for “ convenience”) place came highly recommended from others just not the best overall.
Food: Go traditional at least feel less gypped cause the boneless are quarter size round meat wads almost as flat with caked on fried skin, works better as a fried chicken rind. Sauce is ok but nothing that really make want to slap your grandma for. (Don’t hit old people)
Price: combos running 15$ a piece we had a four person team only got the chicken. Remember to tip 20%+ if it’s dinner time. Services don’t mean servants.
Rating: 1 star Failed tonight, learn from it, and get better. Might be back if we...
Read moreGrand opening was today (June 24th, 2024) and what a great addition to Florence! My girlfriend and I have been counting down the days till Wing Stop officially opened so of course we placed a to-go order once we heard they were open for business!
First off, there is no dine in seating at this location. You place an order to go or do an online order. I HIGHLY recommend placing an online order to speed up the process.
Service was great. We walked right in and someone asked for online orders to come to the front and we did. Immediately got our food and were on our way.
We got 20 boneless wings (hot honey rub, Louisiana rub, Cajun, and garlic parm), voodoo fries, and ranch and honey mustard. These wings are DELICIOUS. We loved every flavor we got, but the hot honey rub and Louisiana rub were our top favorites. The ranch is to die for I recommend ordering extra if you’re a ranch lover! Tempting to drink it out of the container it’s that good. The honey mustard was also really good! The voodoo fries were great as well. I highly recommend if you like their Cajun seasoning.
All in all, this location LITERALLY just opened today. So comments about “bad service” are literally people complaining because they had to wait in a long line. What did you expect? Do an online order! It’s much quicker and I’m sure this location will remain busy well after opening.
I highly recommend this place! Welcome to...
