Has smaller selection than other Sam's clubs and the only way it is an enjoyable experience is if you don't have to deal customer service. Spoke to three people about a living social deal I purchased that included a membership with a couple things included. They told me I had to wait three days for the stuff to hit the system. Not a big deal but they were a little curt about it. Whatever. Come back three days later they have no idea what I am talking about. They can't tell me what or where to find what I was promised and were so rude to my girlfriend and I and all we did was ask for help. Finally after speaking with multiple rude customer service agents one finally gave me a piece of paper with what I was promised through the promotion but it was vague (it read one package of hoagies; no brand, size, or anything). I asked for help finding the items and no one could locate them for me. Turns out they don't carry the item. Awful waste of time and effort.
Besides the botched promotion ordeal, the store is just as any big bulk membership store. Except the bathrooms are completely foul. No one knows what's going on in the store. And everyone shopping there pushes their gigantic carts around in a self absorbed manner and makes it impossible to navigate. And there are never any checkouts open. Ridiculous. So you wait 10-15 min to check out.
So, it's dirty, crowded, and has poorly trained staff and their promotions are a joke. All in all 2/5 stars. Don't buy a membership unless you have a family of six and don't mind hassle and have plenty of room to store five packs of shampoo and can use five pounds of apples...
Read moreI ordered a few items to be shipped. On May 24, I got an email telling me that my package was out for delivery. My package never got delivered instead it was canceled. I was just trying to find out why it was canceled. I chatted with your chat team who told me they didn’t know who canceled my order . Told me to contact my credit card company. It wasn’t my credit card company so I chatted again with someone and they told me they couldn’t tell me who canceled it either. So I called the store and I pushed zero. Apparently, I got the liquor department she transferred me to delivery, no answer. I called back twice and got hung up on twice. It was like she could see my number on the caller ID and just hung up on me. I am not happy with this situation. I know I’m only one customer, but this is very irritating when you’re expected to get some items that you ordered by shipping and your order was canceled with no answers, when I called back, I was going to ask the store manager to work it out with whoever the store manager was at that time, but I got hung up on Twice ! You can do better by having better customer service who knows how to answer questions and not just cancel orders from customers. Please note I’m usually a very calm and patient person, but this is not OK!

Read moreI purchased tires and had them installed at the club in Florence KY. I noticed leaking at my valve stems, and upon inspection, they were not replaced when the tires were installed. I reached out to the club and they told me that they were incapable of replacing them because they didn't have a torque wrench or the appropriate valve stems. I complained that it is an industry standard to replace the valves but I was turned away to solve the problem on my own. I feel like I was taken advantage of because they advertise servicing the valve stems, my invoice shows that the valve stems were completed, but it was not completed, and I was refused a refund. I also feel that this is extreme false advertising and other customers need to know that they will not be getting the service that they are paying for. I want to make sure this problem is not affecting other customers. I recommend going elsewhere for tires.
UPDATE: After filing a complaint with Sam's Club corporate and the Better Business Bureau, I was able to schedule a time to go back into the club and talk to a manager. I was refunded my original purchase. I was also assured that they are doing the necessary things to get their marketing material and signage changed to reflect that they will not replace metal...
