Zaxbys Chicken Fingers & Buffalo Wings — Restaurant in Florence

This was the worst experience I’ve had at fast food restaurant in Florence.

I waited in the parking for an online order and wasn’t greeted for the first five minutes. So I called the store 8 times with no answer, it went to voicemail each time. I winded up going through the drive thru in order to get my food. The drive thru took around 20 minutes and when I got to the window, I told them about the situation I experienced and she offered me an apology.

I placed my order to be picked up at 6:30pm and by the time I got the window it was 6:55. She handed me a sealed bag and I asked her if this food was going to be cold on top of the whole experience and she told me “the bag feels hot”. Anyways, my whole lunch break was wasted and I had to scarf it down in the break room. As soon as I opened up the bag, I could instantly tell it was cold. The ice in my drink was melted and the condensation had soaked my napkins.

The reason I was bothered was because they made no attempt to resolve any of the issues I experienced. They didn’t seem to be concerned with my experience and they just moved onto the next customer.

Zaxby's is one of my go to spots for fast food. Their tenders are great, I haven't tried a lot of their sandwiches, but the ones I have tried are okay. I LOVE the fries and white cheddar bites. They actually have pretty good cookies too, I can't reccomend the brownies though. Most of the time you get good, fresh food, only on rare occasions do I get bad service (order wrong) or bad/old food. I don't like their tea and I don't drink cold drinks, so, I usually order a milk for my kid. I loved going here for salads in the past, but a few years ago, it seemed as though they changed to some cheap bagged mix that you can buy at Walmart and I think the salads are terrible now. That is really crushing for me because their salads were amazing and no fast food place matched them on salads but now I can't pay that much for a subpar bagged mix salad. The prices of their food is a little steep, that's actually the biggest complaint I hear from people, the prices are too high. Between the high prices and the salad quality dropping (it was my favorite menu item) that's my reason for 4 stars as...

I love Zaxby's normally, but I am giving this particular Zaxby's a 1 Star, I would give them a zero start if I could, so me and my wife go, place my order, order comes out slightly wrong, just that they gave me the version that didn't come with sides when I ordered sides, I didn't think this would be that big of an issue I went and told the lady we didn't get our sides, now it's only a $2 difference between the version with and without sides and for $2 she tells me that I have to do a refund back to my card,doesn't tell me until afterwards oh your money will be back tomorrow,I was already slightly perturbed about that but then I call today and I was told no it will be 3-5 business days so for $2 this place is holding $50 of my money ransom,I absolutely will never go to this Zaxby's again,if this is what is considered customer service,it's a joke and the worst part is due to dietary restrictions this is one of only a few places my wife can eat out and they ruined one of her favorite places to eat...
