Ben & Jerry’s — Restaurant in Florida

Waited in a really long line but as much as we love Ben & Jerry’s and have never had the opportunity to visit a store we would have waited in a line twice as long! I heard a guy in front of us making comments about one of the teenagers behind the counter chewing on his fingernails and I admit that about made me leave but I realized they at least were gloving up prior to scooping ice cream. Sure enough, just as my luck goes he was the one that waited on me. I ordered a Carmel milkshake. The same guy that was talking about him chewing his nails made a comment That my milkshake would be a cup of milk as this kid poured a glass of milk and put a tiny scoop of ice Cream in it and sure enough it was just as described. By the time I tried it we had gotten outside the building and the line was also out of the building and almost around the corner and we were eager to get back to the condo. We love B&J and was more disappointed in the lack of training, both on hygiene and making product than anything else. If your going to charge this much money for a milkshake, at least give folks...

I was craving a chocolate malt really bad Saturday 9/20/25, night. I went in about 9pm and the young man that was in there, I believe his name was Jalen (?). I asked him if they made malts and he was a bit confused about what it was and after I explained it was a shake with powdered malt in it, he said they didn’t have any. I thanked him and walked out. I was almost to my car and he came running out to stop me and tell me he found the malt!! I went back in and he made me a chocolate malt! It was so delicious and definitely hit the spot. It would’ve been so easy to just let me go and I would’ve never known any different, but he went out of his way to look for the malt and then chase after me and I just wanted someone to know what a great job he did! Thanks (and so sorry if I got your name wrong, I’m terrible with names) 🩵 Great job going above...

When we arrived we were the only ones in the shop. I said hello to the employee but he seemed bothered that we were there. When I asked for a specific sample of "Cold Brew" I think he gave me the wrong one as when I asked for a scoop of Coffee, he didn't clarify and pretty sure he gave me "Buzz, Buzz" which was the same bin my sample came from. No worries. While my family and I ate our ice cream another family came in and while the employee helped them he seemed impatient, he still seemed put out as he had to remove his headphones now to serve them. He somehow managed to put them on between families. Another gentleman came from the back at that point.

Although he was diligent in sanitation and meeting requests he seemed bothered he had to work that night. Otherwise it was fine. B&J ice cream, and nothing more than that. 🤷‍♀️ Hence the...
