Footprints Gifts — Local services in Miramar Beach

Cheryl at Footprints Gift Shop in Destin has fantastic customer service skills and is to be celebrated.

Long story short, my daughter was given a mermaid statue as a gift that was purchased from this store less than a month ago while our family was in the Destin area on vacation. While cleaning her room I managed to destroy the mermaid statue and was lost as to finding a suitable replacement.

My son gave me the details to the store where he made the purchase and I contacted “Cheryl” who answered the phone and set about to help me. She asked me to text her a picture of the statuette and thereafter quoted me a price and took the necessary info to get the replacement shipped. Janet Reeves the store owner even paid to wrap and ship the gift to our home In south Florida .

There’s nothing that impressed me more than the genuine and kind manner in which Cheryl moved heaven and earth to replace the statue for my daughter.

We are truly grateful for her efforts and if we ever visit Destin I plan on visiting the shop so I can thank her in person . Well done Cheryl and Janet ! We appreciate...

Such a local gem! Packed to the gills with everything 30A/Destin/Miramar Beach, tropical, beachy, nautical, flamingo, etc.! Hardly a square inch of this place that isn't covered with something to buy. Take your time looking through everything because I guarantee you will miss something if you rush on through. Doesn't have much of a selection of clothing or hats; would definitely recommend trying one of the surf shops (Surf Style, Alvin's, etc.) or even Walmart for those things. Biggest surprise is that they are not exorbitant on prices ... for such a boutiquey feel, I expected the prices to be crazy expensive. Very friendly staff and celebrating 40 years in business right now (March 2025). Perfect for locals or those...

I always shop local when vacationing so I wanted to visit Footprints. I fell in love with a large metal starfish wall hanging. It wouldn’t fit in suitcase so I carried it on the plane home! My daughter and I enjoyed speaking with the lady there. She told us a lot about the 30A area but we didn’t make it. I sincerely hope the the lady who also wanted it but left the store wasn’t too heartbroken if there wasn’t another in the back or there was another starfish, same size but in green w yellow that she could buy! Lots of nice things in Footprints, love the colorful bird...
