Had a really great experience. I was actually on my way to a different place with a handful of items I needed to sell. Coming off several years of being family caregiver and not finding employment yet I've been really struggling. I needed just a little help. Place I went was closed for next few days. Jewlery Buyers International was next on my list. It was 2 min til 5. I called to find out the next days hours. Dave and Zoe were just going to dinner but offered to do a house call after. Even offered to bring me dinner! I was a bit unsure if I was ready to sort through all I have but decided it would. Dave and Zoe went through my things. I ended up bringing out more things that I didn't even know had any value at all. Dave and Zoe, and their friend with them, we very nice. A welcomed pleasure to deal with. Offered me a great deal and I took it. I'm still not exactly sure I made the right decision to sell all I did but I'm 100% sure calling Dave was the right decision. I was disappointed yesterday in my visit to JBI. There was a customer with the owner in the room. So I waited in the waiting room, while waiting I got a call from my mom and responded in my language(kurdish) "i will call you later." He came out and said' one second and closed the door, I waited for 20 minutes. I left then after 10 minutes later he left me a message said" sorry the customer wanted privacy and took a while with her deal. On Sunday (day after) I got a private call. When I answered a woman said to me that she was the customer in the store yesterday. I asked her why you were calling me and why in private phone number she said "because i don't want you to know my number." I asked how you got my phone number? She said the owner gave it to me and i said "thats a customer's privacy he shouldn't give you my phone number, the women said to me to shut up"!!. Dave is more than fair on his pricing, 100% will be back to do business in the future! update I was one of the thousands of unfortunates who lost just about everything worth a darn during hurricane Helene. Let me tell you that Dave and Zoe both outdid themselves yet again and went the extra mile for me with the last bit of gold I had left to sell. Even though Dave's office was subject to flooding, he went out of his way to meet me right after the storm, and practically did business right out of his vehicle to get me the much needed cash to help with recovery, and was very sympathetic and helpful.
