I have eaten here quite a few times throughout my years being local. Over the past two years, it’s been completely inconsistent. Sometimes the dough is soft, sometimes it’s stiff as a board. On top of that, the past two times I’ve gotten overly expired soda. And when I say expired, I mean severely expired. Now this was a long while back and I’ll admit I had forgotten this when ordering again tonight. I order two pies. One had all of the ingredients mushed into the center, off center cut, just really thrown in the box like there was no second thoughts involved. The second, rock solid thin pieces that cracked when folded. The hot wings looked old, dry. I mean I got this random bone piece even. No dip on the side to mask the atrocious dry sauce. I’m thinking man did I really waste money? Then lo and behold, to really lay on the burn, they give me the warmest most vile tasting… expired soda!!! I mean come on. Do you know how long it takes for soda to expire? It just makes me question the integrity of all of the other products being used in this place. It reflects on your cleanliness. The bottle was even dirty. Does anyone look? Does anyone even care? -sigh- anyways, I end my review with saying, if you’re like me and every dollar counts… don’t forget to remove this one off the local pizza ordering list before hitting submit.

If I had the option, I’d put zero stars. It’s my first time ordering food (online and from the restaurant) and I’m very disappointed. I ordered the chicken parm for 2 and chicken alla Davinci (I had to google what it was cause they didn’t have ANY description online) the chicken parm was good but the davinci was very disappointing. Since it didn’t have the description of the actual meal and I googled it I got something completely different. So I called and I asked what came with it and told me that I was suppose to get an option of soup or salad and garlic bread (didn’t give me an option of picking those nor did it tell me it came with it) and it was suppose to come with a lemon butter cause and broccoli. The bag that it came with was soaked with the sauce and I got two skimpy pieces of broccoli. So they were VERY good at trying to make it up to me. I asked what the chainti chicken was and described it as a white wine sauce with artichokes, mushrooms, parmigian cheese and roasted peppers. They delivered it to me with in 30 minutes. The pasta was very dry and no parmigian cheese and nowhite wine sauce. I sent the first order back with the soaked bag and a letter for the manager or owner. I am very disappointed.

Update 08-24 So recently went, again for pizza. Ordered the "Masterpiece" as previously with EXTRA cheese. I didn't think it could get any worse. I don't even think this deserves to be called pizza. Toppings spared, WHERE'S THE CHEESE? I have to guess that little white spot in the middle is extra cheese. The crust was like rubber when tried to chew. I would frankly be ashamed to put out a product like this. I think I'm done with Davinci's. This place is family owned. Been going there off and on for years primarily for the pizza so cannot comment on other menu items. Usually order the same pizza, the Masterpiece (other places might call it a Supreme). Always order extra cheese. It is very inconsistent, not sure why. Can only speculate different cooks on different days. Some times toppings are not really cooked or crust is unevenly cooked. It never really appears there is extra cheese. I think this could be part of the people answering the phone. Their busy, distracted and in a hurry to get off the phone. Not sure if they're always paying attention to detail. I would describe the place as "cozy". Prices are comparable to similar establishments.

I understand being a NEW YORK ITALIAN the restaurants down here just can't compare...they just don't...these people think they're fooling Italian people with this food?? don't think so...even so you come to accept the difference...BUT...today I went in and ordered a side salad and two slices of pepperoni...I told this to the person behind the counter...TWICE...I made sure she understood me...I heard her tell the man working the ovens...two slices of "PEP"..which obviously means pepperoni...I told her twice..she ordered it that way...when I got home there was no pepperoni and the salad was no longer salad but a small amount of lettuce with a bit shredded carrots one piece of tomato and a slice of cucumber....it was horrible...the pizza was the worst I ev er experienced there....it was dry tasteless and extra extra thin...LIKE THEIR FOOD WASN'T BAD ENOUGH TO BEGIN WITH? ..when I called they said they misunderstood me...how is that possible when I told them clearly TWO TIMES...the person behind the counter is just an airhead...!! I WILL NEVER EAT THERE AGAIN...WHAT A JOKE...!! BELOW THEY ASK...WHAT DISHES WOULD YOU RECOMMEND--HERE'S MY ANSWER..--NONE !! GUESS WHAT IS BETTER THAN THIS?? DIGIORNO IN THE FROZEN FOOD SECTION OF YOUR SUPERMARKET...CHEAPER...MUCH...
