I have mixed feelings. I came here with high hopes after reading fabulous reviews. I entered just before 11:15, shortly after opening at 11 AM. I expected ALL of the hot food to be hot, but it was not. Much of the hot food was cold or lukewarm. I am rather particular about the temperature of things, especially fried foods like fries and wings. I wish there were more of a variety when it came to the sushi, but the sushi I had was rather enjoyable. It would have been nice if the sushi platters were labeled so that everyone would have known what they were. I recognized some things but not others. I also had some Hibachi and Walter the cook was very friendly and accommodating. I had to wait over 5 minutes for someone to attend to me at the Hibachi station. There should be a sign with instructions to let people know the process as it isn't intuitive to someone who hasn't done it before. The hibachi food Walter prepared for me was delicious with the exception of the chicken, which was too dry. Perhaps it were sliced too thinly. The shrimp were perfectly cooked, and I was thankful they they were not also overcooked like the chicken. The deserts looked different, but most of them tasted alike... as if it were the same batter with slightly different presentations. I thought the salmon was a bit bland and mediocre. The chicken wings were also mediocre. The sweet and sour chicken was tasty enough, but it was one of the items that were cold. The rice and noodle dishes were also mediocre. Some of the staff were warm and friendly, more were cold and standoffish. I hope that this venue can continue to thrive and correct their ways and serve the city of Port St Lucie. It is spacious and clean and would be a great place for a large gathering. There was a place like this I used to frequent in another city and they had frozen yogurt and a crepe station in their dessert section which I absolutely loved. I was a bit disappointed to not see either of them here.

Update Oct 20th 2025:unfortunately I did not have the same experience, sushi was probably the best part. But no huge tenders and the sausage has been reduced to tiny pieces, wet and fried wings had a weird after taste.. further the had crayfish but only cold.. but when i attempted to eat then was greatest with a gross fishy taste and almost throw up.. cold shimp i wasn't waste or risk it either they just didn't feel right or fresh enough to risk, very upset at these changes. GRAND OPENING REVIEW > I will start off by saying for a buffet and a price range 15$ for lunch.its a value! I went around pretty much trying a couple things of each if you bring your kid(s) they have high quality, huge chicken tenders and a few other items little children would enjoy for a low price.not 100% cost of a child but it probably be under 10$ if I would guess. For people that like hibachi and sushi, they have a great selection of tuna and salmon rolls and imitation crab rolls. Everything was really fresh. It tasted great, keep in mind I went around 11:45-12:30 food was fresh and hot. They had monster crawfish hot and cold, full of flavor and high quality (pictures below) The bourbon chicken and hibachi chicken next to spicy shrimp were spot on full of flavor. Fresh and delicious. They have dry crispy fried wings or wet buffalo style wings that were very good. The crab rangoon was good. No complaints but had better. They had monster smoked sausage that was very very tasty also. Good dessert and salad bar. Also nothing crazy but average.I believe the price for dinner on weekends cost a few dollars more. And holidays a few dollars more but if it carries the quality I had this day on the major seafood dinner mains. Then worth a nice night out for dinner with a date or family.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Golden Chopsticks is hands down one of the best dining experiences in Port St. Lucie! From the moment we were warmly greeted by the beautiful hostess until the very last bite, everything was flawless. The restaurant is super-duper clean — even the bathrooms were spotless, which says a lot about the care they put into the whole place. The variety is simply amazing. There were six to eight different buffets to choose from, offering everything from fried favorites to fresh seafood. The cold bar was a standout with oysters, snow crab legs, and shrimp. Multiple soups, fresh sushi, and a hibachi grill made it nearly impossible to choose just one favorite. That said, the bao buns completely stole my heart — soft, flavorful, and absolutely delicious! The combination of quality, variety, and cleanliness all at an affordable price makes Golden Chopsticks an easy five-star experience. I truly can’t say enough good things about it. If you’re in Port St. Lucie, this is a must-visit!

I walked in and went to the counter right in front of the door, as the only employee I saw was the kid there. He ignored my presence. I told him it was just me and asked where I should sit, he didn't even look up and acknowledge me. After looking around I saw at the end of the counter a hostess booth where it said 'wait to be seated', so I sat down. A minute later a large party of ten came in. The same kid who ignored me look up at them with a huge smile and said 'how many'? Then a hostess came straight over, asked them the same, and seated them. She saw me sitting there and knew I was there first. So I went up to the hostess booth. Where three women all walked past and ignored me. Finally the same woman came over, and I had to catch her eye to get her even to come over and see me. Then she asked me three times how many were with me before she understood it was just me and I wanted to eat there. It was extremely rude. To top it off, the people she seated before me, and all who came in after me, were put in the section all the customers already eating were in, and I was seated on the other side, as if I was an embarrassment to their establishment. It was disgusting and had better not happen even again or I'll file a complaint with BBB. The food was good, and the hostess eventually saw I wasn't a freak and slightly warmed up to me, asking if I liked the food like a normal person would ask the customer. After I was done eating I asked the same hostess, who had warmed slightly, for my bill. She said ok and walked over to the hostess booth. I followed, and she looked at me like I was an idiot, and she didn't know what I wanted. I said again can I have my bill please. She's like 'what'? I said, I'm ready to pay and leave, can I do that now? And finally I got the bill and was able to pay. Went over to the register, same kid who ignored me was there. The hostess came over and rang it up, and didn't give a genuine smile until she saw I tipped decent. Well, I hope she felt repentant when she went to the table and got the additional tip I left there, which was twice as much as that one that made her so happy. Maybe she'll read the Bible I left her too, I hope they all do, they need it! Will I go again? Yes, I liked the food and I want to see if I get the same treatment or if it was a one-off. But if it happens...

Highly Dissatisfied

ALL THE FOOD WAS COLD EXCEPT THE CHICKEN STIR FRY!!!!!!!!!

I showed up at 9:07 on a Monday I usually come in on Mondays or Tuesdays so I'm expecting my usual non stop sushi and eel rolls that are fresh and inviting atmosphere that always make me want to come back. Today there were 8 eel rolls when I arrived ......after I specifically said "Are you still putting out fresh food" I was told I could walk around see what they had and stopped by the manager "yes were bringing out fresh food now" It never came out. I only came for specifics they have the most options I usually like and this is exactly how they went. Egg drop soup COLD, Lo mein COLD Stuffed crab COLD & SALTY Sushi was just as old if it was fried it looked soggy it was sitting there so long, then the sashimi area 8 pieces of eel and basic tune and salmon rolls that had been sitting out to thebpoint I couldnt finish it. my bf basically ate everything edibke in the sushi area on 1 plate no stacking needed by 9:15 so imagine my surprise when their sign says Sushi 9:30 as if it's coming out fresh and nothing comes out instead they're taking all the food back. I would've saved my lil $20 had I known yall were just not planning to refresh any food expecting people and their families to eat cold raw sushi, ribs, chicken EVERYTHING WAS F*CKING COLD! I approached the manager asking when their cut off for fresh food was and she said I would need to come around 8 instead as if they stop serving anything new after 8 even though they have 5+ families seated. I proceeded to ask why she had said fresh food was coming out when I was deciding on staying and she all of s sudden forgot and its "next time we do something for you" knowing damn well you wont remember me next time and I doubt there will be a next time as I take how an establishment treats its customers especially on non busy days very important. The point of the buffet was to have a day I didn't have to cook and could just chow down on something delicious and I left hungry and highly frustrated. Not sure what happened between opening day and now but I am...
