Dude & Meatball's Italian Bar and Restaurant — Restaurant in Florida

Service was BAD. My Mother-in-law had the outdoor deck cave-out from under her seat — it appeared to be rotting — and fell. We received absolutely no apologies from the staff, not even an appearance from the manager or owner, and nothing to resolve the problem. She ended up having to squeeze her seat over to a part of the deck that wasn’t rotting! Yikes!

The food, once it came out, came out one plate at a time. We were a party of 8, so I can understand bringing it out in batches or with multiple servers. But, my plate (the last one served) was brought to me almost TEN MINUTES after the first plate came out to our table. And, once again, no explanation or apologies from the staff.

Our waitress never came back to check on us after the food came out, so I had to flag her down for some parmesan cheese. Should be pretty simple at an “Italian” place, right? Apparently not. Had to flag her down two more times. She finally brought it around by the time we were finishing our meals.

This is already a long review, but I haven’t even started on how bland the food was (that’s why I asked for parm.). Carbonara had almost zero flavor. Sizzling Chicken dish had so much thin watery sauce the noodles were practically floating. Spaghetti and meatballs were about $20. Which is an insane price for (bland) spaghetti and meatballs.

Definitely would...

My best friend frequents and raves about this establishment multiple times a week and I finally was able to check it out with him.

The owners Jake & Lexie were so outgoing and personable! They were taking the orders, serving the drinks and cooking the food my first night! We sat at the outdoor patio area because the inside was still a work in progress, and I got the Bugatta Pasta (sorry I confidently asked for the Bugussy my 2nd visit lol.) and I couldn’t stop thinking about the sauce days later.

My 2nd visit, the inside was open and we were the only ones in there at the time. I had a great time getting to know Jake on a personal level. I met Ella and had fun chatting with her and playing shut the box! They offer a one hole put-put, had 4 TVs that played sports and a plethora of options for liquor! Got to try the Unicorn that is Pappy 15!

Easily accessible via golfcart, down to earth and hard working small business owners that became friends, matched with top notch food and a killer spot and vibe especially for locals this time of year! GO GO GO!...

I've got to say this was the best pasta I've had in a while (aside from my mother's hehe) came to Miramar/ Destin from Hendersonville NC, and on our last day we needed a good carb overload and this definitely hit the spot! I had the sausage and sun-dried tomato pasta and the sauce was SO AMAZING. Im a stickler when it comes to sauces, especially paramesan/ alfredo sauces (I hate canned alfredo), they make all their own sauces and it was to dieeeee for. My son whose a picky 3 year old , TORE UP their spaghetti and meatballs (he never wants any when I make it LOL). Getting into baytowne wharf was difficult due to a drone show that was going on that night and the shuttle bus lines were VERY long, luckily we had a very nice girl who stopped her golf cart and picked us up!!! Thankfully there was no wait when we got there so we were able to have a delicious peaceful dinner! If we're ever back in the area , we will definitely be stopping...
