If I could give this play Zero Stars I would because one star would imply that it's 20% of a restaurant that does everything perfect which is definitely not the case.
I came in to celebrated promotion with four of my closest friends. When everyone says their orders all of my friends got their orders which it's not a bad thing but considering that I was the one paying for the whole evening I should have also got my order which it was not the case.
Apart from the fact that I did not get my order on time the waitress did not pass by probably because she felt ashamed of what was happening with my order. The waitress not passing by led to my friends not getting refills on their fountain drinks, we didn't have enough napkins, and the one thing that was supposed to be brought on a timely fashion which was bottled beer... it wasn't... Every time we would order a beer from the bar it would take north of 20 minutes.
Needless to say my celebration was ruined by the lousy quality of service that this place had to offer. I applaud the manager for trying but considering that the whole evening was ruined I expected everything to be on the house or at least a 50% off and not him trying to bring three beers and a dessert on the house...
When I was getting my first masters at Nova Southeastern University I used to take some classes in the satellite campus that they have in this shopping Center. When this Duffy's first opened the customer service was impeccable... It is clear to me now that is no longer the case...
This level of customer service is pathetic and borderline criminal from the perspective of the Supply of Goods and Services Act 1982.
Truly shameful... I should have waited the 1:45 minutes in flanigan's at least their ribs are better and so is their customer service.
Tip to the waitress:
Write down the order next time and don't try to remember it all like you were...
Read moreThis is my 2nd time visiting this establishment. The first time was a month ago late at night and we just wanted a drink and appetizers. Everything was fine so I decided to come back Friday after work around 5:30pm. We were sitting outside. The food was ok and the vibe at this place is fine for me. However my server this last time was horrible. From the very beginning she had the i don't care attitude which is not pleasant. I had to get up from my table twice to go see where our order was or if she even remember to put it in. She will not pick the dirty plates. She didn't ask would you like something else? She didn't even bring water for the table. When I was ready to pay again she was nowhere to be found. I walk up to the front to see if i can pay and just leave . I ended up just leaving $5 tip (less than 10%) i normally tip 20% by default. She didn't deserve even $1. I told her I would have given her more but she needs to do a better job. Listen, i can understand how difficult the service industry is. I know from family members that being a server is not an easy job. I can understand going to a restaurant and not liking the food or having to wait a while to be seated or the prices being too high all that is ok because is my choice to take or leave it. What i feel is unacceptable is to have a bad service for no reason. She could have been having a bad day but as the customer i don't need to deal with such bad attitude.
This is no reflection on the restaurant as i noticed the other servers were extremely nice and attentive to the other tables.
I don't know if I will come back to this establishment...
Read moreI recently visited Duffy's Sports Grill in Kendall and was extremely disappointed with the level of service I received. Despite being greeted promptly upon arrival, the experience went downhill from there.
The waitstaff seemed disinterested in providing any type of service, taking a long time to take our order and then forgetting several items that we had requested. It was difficult to get anyone's attention for a refill on drinks or to ask questions about the menu. To make matters worse, it took an additional 15 minutes to receive our first round of drinks and appetizers.
The lack of attentive service was further compounded by the almost complete absence of staff. The restaurant was sparsely populated, yet there were only a couple of staff members visible. When we did eventually receive service, it was rushed and inattentive. Our server seemed overwhelmed and was unable to provide the level of service one would expect from a restaurant of this caliber.
As a former black card holder for the last couple of years, I have noticed a significant decline in service over the past two years. The poor service has made me disinterested in even going back to Duffy's Sports Grill in Kendall.
Overall, I was thoroughly unimpressed with my experience at Duffy's Sports Grill in Kendall. The lack of attentive service left a sour taste in my mouth and detracted from what could have been an enjoyable dining experience.
