Sloan’s Ice Cream — Restaurant in Parkland

02-05-23 @ 8:30pm I have visited this location many times and enjoyed the experience. However, this may be my last visit. I have never witnessed such a blatant and gross case of neglectful customer service. All the employees were goofing off and talking amongst themselves taking their sweet time. The woman waiting before me was patiently waiting while the girl helping her talked and joked with the other employees not acknowledging this customer at all. The customer politely said she needed to leave if someone could please ring up her purchase. The girl then snapped at the customer service a garbage truck sized load of attitude. telling the customer "oh do you now..." while all the other employees hooted and hollered at the fact the the customer asked a simple question. The rest of the employees then started giving attitude to the poor customer wanting to leave with her purchase. The customer then tried to explain that she had been waiting a while and all of the employees started laughing in the customers face and talking about her like she wasn't standing right there. "she did not just say that" "what did she just say" "oh no she didn't"

I HAVE NEVER WITNESSED SOMETHING LIKE THIS.

It is safe to say that this business has lost at least 2 customers but most likely more than that. This was the worst customer services experience I have ever seen. Completely ridiculous and each one of those employees in my opinion deserves to be fired.

Ok so as much as I want to say this is an amazing, fun, whimsical place with amazing ice cream and treats, I just can’t. I walked outta here today with a $36 bill which included: 1 scoop kids ice cream, 3 chocolate covered Oreos, 5 rainbow non-perils, 10 gummy bears, 1 piece of toffee and 2 small pieces of almond bark……… Litterly people, that’s it!!!! 😱 As cute and fun as this place wants to be, the price tag is in no way worth it. 1 scoop of ice cream, In a child’s cup will run you 6.99! Has it really and truly gotten that bad when 1 scoop of ice cream is more then 2 slices of pizza?!!?! I was so floored when she told me the price, I wished now I had just told her to take it back. My husband me and 14 month old went into Sloan’s tonight and wanted to give my son a taste of ice cream, so I asked for a sample of the blue ice cream with gummy bears. He put a small spoonful into a “puppy cone”. I asked if this was going to cost and he whispered to his manager who then told him to charge me for a REGULAR size cone… about $7. I told him I didn’t get a regular though just a small spoonful and he said doesn’t matter. Then I said ok then no thank you and he took the ice cream and threw it in the trash behind him. BTW… we’ve gone to this location before and received the “puppy cone” at no charge!!! All of that to be thrown away anyways… disgusting customer service don’t go to this one.
