I had a fantastic experience at Jon's Place, the pizza store in Boca Raton, Florida. We ordered a variety of items, including pizza, falafel, and French fries, and everything exceeded our expectations.

This restaurant, if you even want to call it a restaurant, is a mess. Not only was the place overcrowded, the staff did not seem to care that customers were there at all. My friend and I ordered on the phone ahead of time and were told to be there in 25 minutes. When we got there it had been around 20 minutes and the guy working at the counter told us that our pizza was not ready yet. The person working the counter was also just rude to us and other customer. He rolled his eyes, argued with orders, and just generally didn’t care to help any customers. We sat around for another 10-15 and heard nothing about our pizza. About another 10 minutes after that my friend went to ask about the pizza and it was ready and seemed to had been there for awhile. When we went to sit down the tables were not bussed whatsoever and we had to clean the table ourselves. In doing so we saw that the trash area was overflowing and had even spilled out onto the nearby floor and counter. The water provided seemed fine until my friend found a bug in his cup. My city has no kosher restaurants. So, I like to frequent several of them while here. I went to Jon's Place and got a few items. The fish & chips and a slice of pizza. The minestrone soup was good as was the pizza. However, the fish & chips were another story. After 1 bite, I can say it was probably the worst I have ever had. I complained and asked what kind of fish. They said it was cod. I explained that I was from Canada & it absolutely wasn't cod. So, they said it was tilapia. I think it was Pollack and probably freezer burned and I said I would not eat such a horrible meal. They gave me a look, so! I told them I would like to get something else, which they were very put off by. Reluctantly, they asked what I wanted. I told them, Eggplant Parmesan. They rang it up and said I needed to pay the difference. I pointed to their menu board & showed it was the same price.
