Little Greek Fresh Grill — Restaurant in Florida

To be clear I love Little Greek as a mini chain or at least I used to. Their chopped Greek salad with chicken is by far the best of all Greek restaurants but they recently changed their dressing and it isn't half as good as when they were using Farmer's Boy dressing. The new house dressing just isn't as tangy and robust . This particular store is pretty much like every other store, with one exception. They seem to have difficulty when I say that I want the salad chopped with the chicken and everything chopped together, accomplishing that task. Most of the time I find a big lump of potato salad in the middle and the chicken laid on top of everything and I usually have to ask them to please take it all out and chop it all together somehow they can't seem to get that when you order it though which is a frustration. I do this because I like having every bite be filled with all of the wonderful flavors that encompass a Greek salad I'm not trying to eat every little piece à la carte. UPDATE: AUGUST 2023... Improved!! Food is good, service is great! Thank you for muting the TV and bringing back the Greek music. Now if only the AC could work again.

We've been coming here for years and love the food here... The last couple of visits have not been so good though. They are a little expensive anyway and now not only did the prices increase but it seems there is some "shrinkflation" going on too. Meat missing on skewers.. 1 was full, the other 2 were not! Other than that, portions are usually good. I hope the state of our salads recently is not a sign of their future quality... for the first time the lettuce was obviously NOT FRESH. There was even quite a few rotten pieces that we had to pick out... GROSS!! The cleanliness has always been obviously not a priority... consistently dirty tables, dust on ledges, dirty floor etc. I recently grabbed some napkins to wipe our table and sprayed them with their bottle of 'cleaner'.. found it to be just water 😮. We’ve had positive experiences eating at and ordering from this Greek chain before, but our latest experience at this location was not a good one. We ordered two gyros - one chicken with fries and another with lamb. From the time we placed our order to when we received our food, it was about 15 minutes. This was understandable, as they were busy and we were fine waiting. The issue is that they placed the fries into the to-go container almost at the time we placed the order, and so the fries get soggy and cold. When we finally received our order (which others who ordered after us got theirs first, until we inquired about ours) and got home, it was about 30 minutes later. Unfortunately, only after we got home did we notice that they gave us a steak gyro instead of lamb. There was barely any tzatziki sauce, and no feta cheese. The pita was also a bit crunchy and flaking, which indicates it was old. We barely ate half of it before we threw it away. The good news is, the chicken gyro was great and prepped just how we’re used to. In general, we may consider returning, but may give it some time before trying this...
