I pulled in the drive-thru at roughly 8:40 to order an apple pie for my grandma. I sat there for about 7-8 minutes before my order was even taken, and I was at the speaker so long that I thought it was broken, so I started to drive up, thinking they were taking orders at the window. But someone finally took my order: ONE APPLE PIE. So I waited. I was in the line for about 12 minutes, and there were still three cars ahead of me, so I pulled out, parked, and went inside. The car that was at the window when I pulled out of line was still there, and didnât get their order for at least another five minutes. It smelled strange inside. One person was working the drive-thru window. There was no one at the first window and there was no one at the counter at first. Not one employee acted like they wanted to be there or even smiled at the customers. The man in front of me ordered, and then I ordered, once again. I said that I had just left the drive-thru, so if there was an order for one apple pie, that was most likely me. Total came out to $1.07. I gave the cashier my money, and watched her walk to the side, thinking she was grabbing my pie, which should have already been boxed up and ready by that point, or at the very least, cooked. But no. I stood there for another ten minutes before my grandma called me asking where I was, at exactly 9:15. I told her I was STILL waiting and I had been there for over 30 minutes. When I got off the phone, the customer next to me decided to intervene. When her order came up, SHE asked the manager when MY pie would be ready because I had been waiting for over thirty minutes. The manager said it would be right up. IMMEDIATELY, I FINALLY got the pie. I thanked the lady and left, wishing her a good night and promising that I would leave a bad review. So here I am. I was not reimbursed. I was not given anything on the house. I wasnât even given a coupon. If I could leave less than one star, I most definitely would. But I guess one star will have to do. At least the pie was hot. Thatâs the only good thing I have to say about this experience, but honestly, I stopped going there a long time ago because every experience I had was horrible. But this takes the cake. I donât even know how this location is still open for business. Most of the reviews here are one-star reviews. I actually laughed out loud when I read the âfast serviceâ tag on your website....
Read moreworst mcdonald's in tallahassee, no question about it. we've been there about a dozen times and no matter what time of day or day of the week, drive thru time is always at least 15 minutes even if we are the only car in line. more often than not, our order is wrong. if we try to get it corrected, we get an attitude from the employees. tonight, part of our order was 3 small fries. order came out with one sad little bag that was half full. the lady at the window gave me 2 more orders: another sad small half full order and an order of the size they put in happy meals in the little red box that had, no joke, a grand total of 8 fries in it. i just kept saying to myself "it's not worth it, it's not worth it..." as i drove away. when i got home, i found that the buns on the sandwiches had been microwaved to the point of being rubbery. i get that it's "just mcdonald's", not a fancy dining restaurant, but come on. none of the other locations i've been to in town even come close to being this awful. i've worked fast food before and i know how it can get but this is ridiculous.
and don't expect any kind of greeting or "thanks/have a nice day" at either window. i haven't had a flat out "rude" experience like some of the other reviewers have posted, but i have definitely gotten the impression that i was somehow inconveniencing them. after tonight, lesson learned: drive a little farther and go to burger king, taco bell, or hardee's if i don't feel like cooking and want...
Read moreMcDonald's 3819 North Monroe...I don't know what happened to this McDonald's, but it has definitely gone downhill over the years. This location is always slow, always messes up my order, or out of everything. We've gone when it's packed and when there's only a few cars in the drive thru and it still takes forever. The last time I went, I purchased 2 happy meals, a cheeseburger and a sweet tea. During my order, I was informed that they were out of apple slices and go-gurt...the only option was extra fries. That was fine, so I went ahead and paid for my order.
Pulled up to get my food and was then informed that the sweet tea wasn't working as well as the juices for the kids meal. I had already paid and didn't want soda for me or the kids, but they had no other choices for the kids meals....then I look in the kids meals and there were no extra fries. Oh...and I ordered the kids cheeseburger with no pickles or onions....it came with both haha and I had to hear "ewwww, there's pickles on here." I use to work at a McDonald's, so I can understand running out of items...but that's why you let the customer know before they pay for their order....just overall, this location always seems to be having issues, no matter the time of day. A lot of people don't expect much out of fast food places sometimes, but I at least expect my order to be correct. So I'd recommend avoiding this location, unless you just have no other...
