Moe's Southwest Grill — Restaurant in Florida

Had the most awkward interaction yesterday at this location. Walk in and there is a sign sitting on the counter stating that you can make ANY taco a blazing taco just ask for the red shell. Start my order for a veggie taco and ask for the red shell when the guys working behind the counter start freaking out. Saying they cannot do that and that they would get in trouble with Jason and Jason would fire them if they used the red shell on anything other than the birria taco. We point out the sign on the counter that says ANY taco. They advise that Jason would fire them if he caught them using that shell because once it’s out of stock that’s it no more red shells. They made an exception since Jason wasn’t in at that time. They then state they should just put it in a box and make us build our tacos ourselves. They also didn’t know how to charge for our veggie tacos so they decided to charge us with veggie tacos, confusing. Then the people that came in after us appeared to order tacos and asked for the same shell and the guys behind the counter, basically yelling says, “WELL I DID IT FOR THOSE GUYS I GUESS I CAN DO IT FOR YOU” and everyone turned and stared at us. I love Moe's, but I don't know who hired the manager that they have. This girl was nothing but rude. She appeared to be Hispanic, dark wavy hair, thicker set. I did not get her name, but next time I go in, I will and will be contacting corporate. I was standing in line ordering my food where the girl that was operating the cash register called over for help or to ask a question and this manager girl started screaming at her to get off the register if she doesn't know what shes doing, and then yelled over to another girl to get her off the register because she doesnt belong there if she doesnt know what shes doing. The girl that got screamed at looked like she was ready to break down. When I got down to the cash register, I noticed that the cashiers nametag read "supervisor" so I told her what happened and she said she can't do anything about it because that rude one is the manager. Then went on to telling me they were 3 people short. This is not how you treat your employees. Perhaps if you would fix your personality, then your associates would show up to their shift. I'm only giving a 5-star rating because the girl that got screaed at, and the girl that prepared my food provided outstanding...

All employees except one extremely rude and unhelpful. Manager on duty Nyatzi or something similar was the worst. Interrupted questions being asked to the polite employee (young man who was handling the veggie portion of meals)- with answers that weren't even the question asked. Zero smiles or friendliness from him. Rang up order and then left one of the bags behind register where we couldn't even see them. Then he walked away without so much as a thank you or have a nice day. Get home to realize we're missing a bag and he was rude and tried to place the blame on us and then claimed he wasn't even the one to ring us up- he 100% was. The other two male employees besides the one pleasant guy, (who I wish we'd caught the name of), also acted like we were ruining their lives by being there. Scant amounts of anything being put on as far as meats because they were almost out of chicken and had to divide it between our three orders. One of the guys told the other to go grab the extra chicken. He disappeared and never came back. One star for nice guy. Find a better job, nice guy....
